Bummer...I have IOS iphone so I need an iPad to show the gauges...how does Android phone interface with Appleplay?

I don't think Android will play with Apple
But if you want to display it on your iPad you could just use Torque and an OBDII tool. Wait does Torque exist in apple land?

How did you get your Android to display on the dash? Isn't that through Appleplay?

Ford SYNC will do both Carplay and Android Auto.

Sadly, OBD Fusion for IOS doesn't show up on Carplay...
To get the gauges to show up on SYNC you need to use a third party app called ODB2AA. Written by the same guy that's doing the AA wireless donggle.

Not in app store and yes Android only. I got it when it was on XDA, but someone said you can buy it directly from him now. Not sure how though
