I know the feeling...it snowed here recently and I had to drive in the salted mess for a few days...☹
I know the feeling. The other day I ran over a salt pack from McDonalds and it took me all day to wash the undercarriage. ??

I drove it in snow. Later today, I will drive it in snow again, then tomorrow, and the next day, and…well, you get the idea - it’s winter in Canada, we get snow.

Not today, but on Thursday, drove Pepper & the wife to St Pete from Plant City via I-4 & I-275 (OMG, how I hate both highways) to check out a 2013 Fusion Titanium w/only 61,000 miles on the clock. (AutoNation Ford & our salesperson Neeko were great to deal with, especially since we were only checking out the car for our grandson who's attending the State College of Florida in Bradenton.

Our son, who lives in Weston, Florida was actually purchasing the vehicle and since it checked out very well on the Buy meter, all paperwork was over nighted down south to complete the purchase.

Wifey & I had lunch on the way home and upon arrival at home were greeted by this big fellow sitting on the flagpole outback, by our pool. Gee, I wonder why our squirrel population has been dwindling!!!

Grandson picked up the car on Saturday morning & needless to say he is happier than a ...!!!

And grandma & grandpa survived!!!

I had a '13 Fusion, loved that car, my nephew has it now, and he loves it too!
Not a red tail? Is it a red shoulder? Not sure what "raptors" you have down in FL...

Looks like a Coopers Hawk. Not sure how they effect the squirrel population but birds at the feeder beware.

I'm in the last two weeks of work, and I just got back from a cruise vacation with my wife. Before we left on the cruise, I parked my "G Ride" at work so now I'm stuck driving my POV back and forth until I "retire". But, I love driving my truck, and it will soon be becoming a true daily driver once I'm done here and loose my unmarked SUV. So what did I do with my truck today? I enjoyed it on my communte!

OK, here's my Friday post, lol.

It was a very good morning to drive the Ranger. It went from hoodie to t-shirt weather PDQ.

I went to the square in Olde Town Covington to get my haircut, stopped by Ace Hardware to ask about getting a piece of glass cut, then breakfast at McDonalds, then shopping at the Walmart.

I gunned it only once. "Copperhead Road" was playing in my Spotify favorites and I couldn't help it, lol. Once that Borla exhaust came to life, I bet Vin Diesel's ears were burning and the ghost of Paul Walker was in the clouds looking down upon me approvingly.

I came out of the barber shop to discover someone was parked next to me. :O It was OK, though. Y'all know how I park.

I stopped by the historic Dial Mill again on the way home. I posted a picture of it a month or so back when the new owner had started clearing away the excess trees and brush. There's grass growing now and it's looking good. I'd love to get a closer look, but I know not to trespass.

The remains of the water wheel are visible now. It's just the metal hub and spokes.

What I did, or rather, the what lady luck did to my truck.

It's never a dull day living in Africa, but after almost six years away, I am looking forward to going back to the US (this summer!).

Wow glad you're alright, that was a close call. Looks like that section wasn't strapped down or it broke somewhere along the way. Hope you can get parts and get your Ranger fixed soon.
