Just checking - this has the tailgate camera bezel, correct? Because when you look this part number up on Ford's website, it says for F150 without camera.

No. To get blacked out emblems, you have to buy them from a third party - as far as I know, Ford doesn't offer them and never has. I bought the blacked out emblem and housing for the tailgate on ebay.
yes, Ford does offer them

Not 100% accurate, as I have the Black Appearance Pkg on my truck and it's not fully blacked out... There's a little smoked/less shiny chrome oval around the Ford oval...

I too, prefer a true blacked out tailgate emblem...

My XL STX came with Blacked out emblems from the factory, no idea why or how, but there is no chrome on the front or back

EDIT - OK, i said all black, then walked out and looked at the truck, the Front still has a Chrome Bexel, but the back is all black

This is my '21 XLT and it has a slightly shiny oval...

Really disappointed with Ford's site, with the finish build pics, when I ordered it online. It appeared to have tinted/smoked tail lights and 3rd brake light/cargo lights. It also appeared to have paint matched mirror skull caps and door handle covers, but it sure the hell didn't when we picked it up....

It also appeared to have fully blacked out front and rear emblems, like this pic:

Little tip, I did the front badge without removing the grill. Reached up behind the grill through the hole in the bumper in front. The nuts were finger tight and I pre-threaded the new badge before installing.

Great input. I've held off because I don't want to mess with taking off the grill and radiator cover...so you'd say super easy install if you can just get to the nuts and manage to get them off?

It may deflect some, but I got it mostly to protect the hood edge.
Agreed. AVS claims the air flow disruption will send bugs over the windshield; I've not found that to be entirely true but perhaps some are going over that would've hit. Anything like a rocks, salt, or the like won't be affected regardless as to whether the air flow thing is valid and the protection is purely the deflector taking the hit instead of the hood edge. That being said, mine has paid for itself several times over in the 5 months it's been on just in taking those rock and road salt hits.
