What prices are you seeing for 4x4 xlt, or lariat? Yeah, it's an insane market... I haven't said anything to anyone here but I have put my truck up just to see what bites I get, been getting messages at 55k 2020 Lariat 4x4 with tech package and 12k in mods.
Been waiting on my Bronco since last July and driving my 30 year old ranger everyday since January when I sold my King Ranch . It started leaking oil bad last Thursday so I panicked and went looking for another truck . Found this 2020 Super Crew Lariat FX4 with all the options and a rollback bed cover and ended up talking them down to 42k . I was expecting to pay closer to a '21 msrp honestly . The Jeep dealer next door had a couple nice 2019 gladiators but would not come off the price of what a new one would cost . I put 20k down and the rest at 1.9% so wasn't too bad . Might not even trade it in when the Bronco finally arrives :)

I fixed the old '91 Ranger easy enough also so it's available again as a backup .

It's seems they didn't learn a damn thing from the last housing fiasco. But sadly I'm not surprised at all.
Who is “they“ that you speak of? You’re talking as if there’s a small group of people that said “hey let’s make car prices go up now and see how that goes”. It’s just a market man. Markets tend to go up and down. It’s just life.

Congrats Benny, you're much better off with the Ranger than the Gladiator but of course I'm bias here. lol :champagne:

The whole Bronco launch has been depressing so at least you now have a sweet ride to get you through the next several months until your Bronco's built. I gotta ask, does it already have a damper? ?

I’m not seeing dealers or anyone else offering more than wholesale here in Toronto. Paid $38,000 - Instant cash offer online is $29,000.

Plenty of used trucks from here are being shipped to the U.S. daily.

Awesome thank you for the insight. Was the 2020 super crew lariat with no miles on it too? Looks beautiful, especially next to that older Ranger(?), kind of looks like a older bronco but I don't know my older vehicles very well. Very cute. I know most wouldn't choose this word, but I find most things cute. Like my stickers :giggle:

I did the KBB instant cash offer a couple of days ago, just out of curiosity.

It came back several hundred more than Vroom or Carmax and thousands more than Carvana.

Two dealers have already emailed me promising to pay "substantially more" than the KBB offer.

I haven't responded to them yet.

It had a bit over 10k miles . Here's a bad phone pic after the level and tint . I'll get better ones after I put the grill in next week . Not a fan of the tires that are on it but might have to ease up on the mods till the wife is over the initial 1st week of spending ,LOL .

Tell her you had on here they're a safety hazard and need to be replaced ASAP. Hopefully she's not near you while you're reading this. ? If she is I'm just kidding. ?

Plus you could always sell the old ones and use the money towards the new ones but that rarely works because you'll just find something else on here to spend it on. :piggybank:

Ease up bud. "They" is the banks, and money lenders. And if you remember 2008 the markets tanked, because the banks loaned sub prime money to every warm body that came in the bank. Then when the balloon payment hit many of those people couldn't make the payment, and it was Katy bar the damn door.

Im easy peasy but I see now you were referring to the sub-prime loan lending practices bubble by banks etc but the discussion here was the Price of homes/trucks. Two different things really.

Benny, I know a pretty good lawyer if you need one - not the best but not too bad. If you have vacation property in AZ, you’ll have to make some sort of trade-off but otherwise, still pretty good.

The black package trucks looks so good with the color matched bumpers.
