Can you describe the ride feel difference with the stock fx4 suspension and the taller tires?

Well these tires are 10-ply and need to be filled to 50psi. So the tires themselves absorb less of the road. You tend to feel the small stuff a little more. But (and I don't know if this is the lift or the tires), the rear stock FX4 shocks feel much better than they used to. The back end doesn't bounce as much as it used to at all. It feels as though all four wheels are planted equally now. Overall, I'd say it's a better ride experience than the stock Hankooks.

Is the level necessary or do you think you could get away with this tire size on stock ride height?

I too am 265/70-18 with the Falkens, I don't think you'll get any larger in there without having some rub. I get just a tiny bit on the frame at full lock ( rear side only ).

Luckily it'll be awhile before my new Toyo's need replacing so I'll have plenty of time to plan. The 265/60r18s don't look so bad for now I guess.

Long time lurker, first post. Just managed to squeeze some 265/70R18 KO2s on my truck with only a 2.5" leveling kit. I scoured for days to see if this would work without adjusting crash bars and couldn't find an answer as everyone seems to use 17" wheels. I took the chance on them and gave it a shot. Just wanted to let the next guy know that it works without any rubbing.

They're really quiet, to be honest. I was quite surprised by that. With the windows down, I can hear a slight amount of noise but imagine that will go as the tires break-in.

Awesome, I ask everyone but have you noticed your mileage suffering a lot?

So, I just finished a pretty long road trip. Before the tires/level kit, I got 7.5L/100km (31MPG) on the highway driving at speed. After, I got about 10.5L/100km (22MPG) with similar driving. Although this wasn't a fair test because I was filled with 4 passengers and my box was absolutely stuffed with camping gear.

I went through the same trials and tribulations. Not easy spending $1k on rubber not knowing if it will fit. First picture is stock suspension with 265/70/18 Wildpeaks. Second picture is with the Fox 2.0 kit installed. I had very slight rubbing somewhere on stock suspension. No issues once the Fox kit was installed.

Did you install the Fox 2.0 at the stock 2in or did you adjust them for more. Thanks

I did zero adjusting. FWIW it's definitely more than 2" or at least I think so. Debated on using a small 1/4" spacer on top of the coilover. Glad I didn't, it would have squatted.

Those are 100% genuine Shrockworks sliders with dimpled step plates.

this looks great and the falken are indeed the best tires for that truck…
and I can‘t even get them in other than factory size here in europe…

Do you think you could have gone up to 275/70/18? Got a 2.5 rc installed looking for tire sizes now.

If I had to guess, I'd say you'll be rubbing. I do get the occasional rub while in reverse and wheel turned fully. But who knows, might be fine!
