Long time lurker, first post. Just managed to squeeze some 265/70R18 KO2s on my truck with only a 2.5" leveling kit. I scoured for days to see if this would work without adjusting crash bars and couldn't find an answer as everyone seems to use 17" wheels. I took the chance on them and gave it a shot. Just wanted to let the next guy know that it works without any rubbing.

Hey Xevo...looking to do the exact set up on mine, do you think would work with a 2 inch lift or is the extra .5 critical?

Thx

Hi there, going about the same setup. Do you think adding 1.5" wheel spacer will start rubbing or there is enough room?

I think it'll rub, but probably not by much.

Sorry for the very late response. I'm not sure, but it'll be super super close. If I was a betting man, I'd say it'd rub slightly.

FYI, I have 265/65 R18s with no lift and they rub ever so slightly when turning right.

Bumping... looking at 265/70/18 BF Goodrich Trail Terrains... I have 2" Ford/Fox lift. Sounds like slight rubbing is the consensus with that setup?

OEM tires on OEM 18" wheels are 265/60R18s and nominal diameter is 30.52 inches.
The 265/70R18s your using are 32.6 inches in diameter, thus +2.1 inches. Without the offset crash bar mod, I would imagine they will rub some... question is how hard a L or R turn do you have to make for it to happen?? Does it happen on the on/off ramps at speed?? Or just at the wheel lock??

Mine are 31.9 tall, with the crash bar mod, no lift and it only happens at the wheel lock limit and only a touch... carry on.

265/70r18 with 1.5” wheel spacers on the stock wheel, it would rub slightly on my stock rear crash bars in reverse, close to full lock.

265/70r18 without spacers I had no rub on the rears with a 2.5” level up front.

I can’t speak for the front bars.

I’m about to install the same spec Wildpeaks along with the SVC Perch Collars and was under the impression that they should clear. I have 1” Bora Spacers on hand as well.

I’ll report back. They should be mounted in the next couple of weeks.

Nice... I bought these tires and bolting on soon. Techs and salespeople at Discount Tire were very confident that they'd work after a test fit.

So what's the verdict? (with pics please)

So great! I have a thread here about the SVC collars HERE. The ride is amazing. Feels much more planted. I’ll get more feedback once we get it off the pavement.
