You mean when I apply it I will have to apply for another year? Does it make it look shiny or no?
A little shine like a matte finish. Just spray it on a microfiber towel and wipe the dash down and let dry. I do mine 2-3 times a year because the sun/uv rays are brutal out here. My dash still looks as good as the day I bought my truck.

It will leave a matt finish and will not attract dust.
For my motor home which sits outside I treat it (the outside rubber slide gaskets and plastic/vinyl moulding) about every 6-8 weeks. Same for my Subi Crosstrek that also sits outside. Especially good on tires.
Wifes Subi and now the Ranger, which are garaged, will get treated inside and outside monthly, tires every other wash (for me thats about every 10 days).
I'm retired, and a bit of a clean/detail freak so for me it's not a problem to keep em clean and detailed.
I have found that using a piece of sponge works great for getting into all the small areas. I use the big yellow sponges used to wet down and remove grout...used by tile guys. Big bag of em at Lowes/Home Depot in flooring section. Cut pieces off with scissors and shape em any way you need. Bigger piece for tires.

Hey gents what does everybody use to clean the top of the dash? Armor all? Just a wet cloth? I always heard the rumor armor all eventually cracks the dash board in years....just curious what everybody uses....
Depends what the dash material is . I have always cleaned it first with microfibre cloth and if leather than leather armour wipes or dash ones!

Same. No solutions at all. Just wipe off the dust.
There is a huge difference between just wiping the dust off and treating with a UV protectant.
A proper protectant will keep the vinyl/rubber "supple" and not let it dry out.
If following the "just wipe it off and use no protectant", why wax the exterior of your vehicle. It already has good quality paint and clearcoat, so why wax it? Would you just "wet it down" and dry it off ?

Armour All makes a cleaning wipe for interior...totally unlike their Jerry Shine "protectant" products...this wipe degrease and treat interior really well...my leather wheel still looks new...

Plastic, vinyl, tires, etc.
Works great. Doesn't attract dust.

yup. i dont bother waxing either
i'm not making out with my car.
it's a tool
it's transportation.
I'm all for waxing and detailing, and when I got into it 20 years ago I was gung ho. Then I got older. I don't drive as much any more and my vehicles live in the garage. I keep the interiors clean, but only by not mucking them up, not by cleaning them all the time. I dust the interiors from time to time. The exteriors get run through a touch-free car wash 2-4 times a year.

Griots Interior Detailer, it doesnt get dirty enough to need the Interior Cleaner. UV Protection and it dries completely matte.

I have replaced enough dashboards in my life that were "treated" with Armor All.

With the 303, it does dry to a matte finish but then you can buff with a microfiber to a satin finish. I also keep baby wipes handy as the moisturizer makes them safe for interior surfaces.

I use a mini California Duster...not sure if they sell this anymore...
Isn't it the same as using a swiffer duster? I read that the California Duster has some sort of oil on the fibers. We have a spell here in TN with pollen. In the spring I can dust the truck 3 times a day, even if kept in the garage and the swiffer works great.
