Don't have to worry about this, usually my only passenger is my dog, (who's seat is usually the center console). Windshield is safe, can't say the same for the side windows- nose smudges. ?

You can also use just plain rubbing alcohol. It works great and leaves no streaks. I used rubbing alcohol all the time when I used to tint cars. Also, if you have your windshield tinted, the tint will actually help fight the haze you're talking about. Tint doesn't get as dirty or as hazy as glass, and its easier to keep clean.

Buy extra cleaning heads and use 2-3 then wash for reuse.
Limits lint from paper towels. You can also scrub harder. Local car parts store should have.

These work well for me. I have two of them - one for washing, and the other for drying.

Best wand I have found.
Head very thin. Reaches between dash and window. Folds. Pads Velcro on. Suggest wash pads before use. One can also use a wand with micro fiber cloth or class cloth. Wrap around head and use. Wands help with easy reach.

My trick that I swear by is I use micro suede towels as a finishing towel DRY. No cleaning products. Do your cleaning first an then use the micro suede towel as a finishing towel.

Here is 1 yard for $12. I typically buy this and then cut it down into the size cloths I want.

This is not abrasive like clay or magic eraser. (Used to be a clay guy now I'm a clay for bugs guy only.)

I use microfiber rags on the inside due to the sound shield, then newspaper on the outside to really clear off the grime. I use a grote's interior cleaner(good on the seats too!) that does well on removing the oil residue inside and regular glass cleaner on the outside..

with all the plastics, windex doesn't work the best. warm soapy dish water, a clean microfiber rag to wash with, and the several paper towels to help it dry.

Also I try to do it on a wet high humid day so it takes forever to dry. That limits streaks by itself.

Did my truck and my wifes car just as it started to rain a couple of weeks ago. the previous night I drove her car and the crap was streaking all the headlights coming at her.
