Yeah, uh…about that... No car, just a yellow pole cemented into the ground:

Coming from the main road onto a street in a commercial center that bypasses some of the traffic I face on the commute home. It’s this weird S-turn swerve, and I just clipped the bollard. Front end missed it completely, but it knocked the mirror, scraped against the rear door, pushed into the bed, and caught on the rear wheel, dislocating the rear axle.

If I had a good pair of rock sliders, they’d have caught the brunt of the impact, and I’d have driven off with only the broken mirror.

If I had better shocks, the truck would’ve been more controlled through the maneuver, and likely avoided impact all together.

If I hadn’t been coming off yet another 12 hour shift, after yet another night of constantly tending to my toddler’s nighttime wakings and putting her back to bed, I wouldn’t have been as tired as I was and not have misjudged the entry.

…At least these are the things I’m trying to sell to my better half.
Been there done that. Thankfully not quite as bad in my case, but at least it's just a truck.

You're safe and in one piece to go home to take care of the toddler. And at least it gets better. As sick as it is, you even miss them being that age eventually. :)

Yeah, only thing hurt is my pride.

That’s exactly what happened. Funny thing is, when someone from one of the offices came to inspect the damage, they said they had just finished repairing damage to the other pole from someone who hit it last week!
Well, on the bright side, no one got hurt. Truck can be fixed. You're not the first to get snagged by those pesky poles. Happens a lot. Good luck.

This was over by the speedway, coming heading towards I-15 from Nellis
Ouch, sorry to hear this buddy. I lived in Las Vegas for 19 years before I moved to Kansas about 5 1/2 years ago. I was in SW on Jones between 215 and Blue Diamond.

loaded my stock tune file back on ... idiots hoarding all the gasoline so just incase I cant find premium anywhere I can run 87. ?

See I think the opposite. I'm glad I have a 93 tune cause the expensive gas is the last to go in my AO.

87 goes first.

I finished up my Ranger facelift with the lower valance. Now it looks like it should IMO. I always felt that the silver valance just looked out of place.

Nice truck and sorry to see it that way. If it makes you feel any better, about 13 years ago in my 2 year old tuned Cummins Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4wd with an 8' bed (which is a really F-ing long rig) I did almost the same thing. I was at a mid town gas station which is narrow. I admittedly got impatient with the slow pokes that don't know how to gas up and get the hell out of the way so I gassed it grabbing the driver's door just behind the mirror flattening it, the rear door and the entire bed all the way to the taillight breaking it as well. Luckily no driveline damage, but it was still about 12k in body work. Shit happens. Best of luck, but she'll get fixed and nobody is worse for the wear.

Just a subtle change. I swapped out the Putco "Black Platinum" rear letters for some straight raised black ones. Old ones had to much bling going on for my build. First picture you can see the reflection vs. no reflection.

Then I wanted to test what happened to my MPG on highway when I started loading up the roof with some large storage trunks. Surprisingly I only lost 0.1 MPG running 80+ with those hunks of plastic up there. The non strapped cases use a bolt and plate system so I can move them around anywhere and attach them to the platform.

Man, I ordered mine on the 1st and they are saying the covers are on back order and won’t be in until mid June...
Yeah, mine took a month and then updated ship date to June, then the next day it shipped.
