I have no technical/mechanical/enginerring-ical training, but doesn't this kind of put pretty much all of the responsibility on the OP:
"No sir, was just driving down I-45 towards Houston for work... there was some knocking that happened, and became louder, then the red oil pressure light came on... i pulled over and called into work... said I wasnāt gonna make it... it was about 5:00 a.m. central standard time... I called into work, restarted the truck, and it was loud... no oil light now... drove as slow as I could back to home"
Might there be a case for a warranty issue if the OP had just stopped where he was and had the truck towed? Seems (to me) that continuing to drive the truck could have damaged it beyond anyone's ability to see what actually MIGHT have been the cause of the catastrophe to begin with.
