I out an aftermarket receiver on. Drawtitght. 7500 pull and 900 tongue weight. Installed factory wiring and a factory 7 pin pkug on the bumper. There is a thread here with part numbers and lots of advise on how to do it. The drawtight receiver sits about an inch forward of the bumper. It does not protrude out like the factory one. No big deal. Weight carry depends on state. I plan on a small 21 foot 6000gvwr travel trailer so i will be getting after market trailer brakes too. A thread here on that as well. So long story short, you can instalk what you need for way less than dealer price. Inhave tow mode blind spot, trailer sway, just no locking diff or 4x4. Xlt model. Plan on upgraded shocks and exhaust and maybe a tuning mod.
I had a Drawtight receiver installed on a previous 4X4 Truck that was prewired by the manufacturer. I towed a 17 ft. boat and this setup did a great job!

All aftermarket hitches looks like an afterthought on the 2019/2020 Rangers.. The factory hitch tucks up tight and has better ground clearance.

I just got my truck back with the OEM hitch installed by the dealer. It was part of the sales agreement, so I can't speak for the actual cost. It has 7500 lb carrying weight, and 750 lb tongue weight. I think the draw-tite looks fine under the bumper, but personally, I like the look of the OEM receiver integrated into the plastic bumper. The OEM receiver is higher, but overall ground clearance of the hitch looks like it might be the same as the draw-tite. At its lowest, it's just a bit lower than the spare tire.

I also like the combo 4-pin/7-pin plug mounted next to the license plate. I suppose that plug could be ordered on its own and installed with the draw-tite if someone wanted that.

Nice! I always prefer OEM! If you got it as part of the sales deal then kuddos to you. I couldn't get it. I do like how the receiver is the way it is supposed to be. The owners manual, yes i read it, says anything over 3500lbs needs a trailer brake( way to drop the ball ford) and to not tow the first 1000 miles. Go to the thread on trailer brakes. Lots if useful info there! Congrats on the truck!
