Damper Mods

It was afraid of the dark but after a month enough was enough! It was tough at first as he kept honking the horn all night long and I'd have to go out and calm him down. It wasn't until I added the damper that he finally calmed down and the honking stopped. See the damper adds way more value than most give it credit for. ?

I dispensed a lot of “tough love” when raising my daughters but I just can’t do it with my Ranger. I guess am getting soft in my old age.

Besides, look at all the special maintenance mods now...special hand blended beauty rub creams and oils, bling colored Velcro fur wraps...can't wait for Mr. Pillow shaft knuckle rest to come out ?

I was just about there, borrowed a damper and left on work bench. Came into garage suddenly and caught my Ranger picking stones out of its tire treads with it. That ended that. Not to mention all the truck picture magazine centerfolds secreted around the garage all of a sudden.?

I have a call into the My Pillow guy to design a special damper pillow. One that's not to soft but firm enough to comfort him after being worked so hard during the week. ?

Well, at least she knows if y'all decide to take it a step further. My dearest, and I started dating right before college, and had to wait until she finished to get married. She was going under her Dad's VA Bill, and would have lost funding if married. So, I had time to slowly introduce her to my craziness about cars. Like your gf there was a lot of head shaking, and eye rolling. But to her credit she has developed into a decent gear head herself. With my Ranger order still being processed I was a bit hesitant to say anything about the Bronco, but I grew pair and went for broke. When I explained to her the process of reserving, and the timeline to order one she just said, "If you want one, get one." Now that's a damn good woman right there.

I didn't get this from my wife (who's given up understanding and just rolls her eyes), but I did get it from my daughters who accused my truck (gasp!) of being the new favorite child. I just grinned and said "Duh."
