What brand? I read on the other thread that you took off the plastic and adjusted your crash bars. Was that after you installed these? Thinking of getting some. My 275/70/17 don't rub at all right now with nothing removed or adjusted. Real tight on the inside though.I was apprehensive at first. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on them.
. Yes, after installing these. No rubbing before at stock height on the 265/70/ Falken. I found them eBay from LUGNUT GUYS. Shipped from Los Angeles. They wereWhat brand? One more question. Was it rubbing on the front and back crash bars? Just checking to see if my mud flaps will have to go. I like the RTR flares too, would be my first choice.. $129.35 with free shipping. They arrived in about a weeks time. It was the only place I found them in stock and ready to ship. If you were to go with a 1 inch spacer it likely won't touch the adjusted crash bar. Personally I'm cool with the slight rub to get the tires slightly outside the fender well. I plan on finishing the truck out with RTR flares.
Just the front. Only at full steering lock, such as pulling into or out of a tight parking spot. One more question. Was it rubbing on the front and back crash bars? Just checking to see if my mud flaps will have to go. I like the RTR flares too, would be my first choice.
I don’t believe so but I’m not 100% . It helps with range of motion and alignment. Also it’s obviously stronger than the stock part.Do the UCA's do anything to help with the tire clearance?

No other mods. Stock Crash bars still in tact. No rubbing at all. 4,000 miles on this setup.
The BFG’s are the only tire Ive seen fit in this size without removing the crash bars. They run slightly smaller which is why they fit.
I can get better images tomorrow as It already in the garage for the night and Im too lazy to take it out.
Hey FL.Ranger hope you're well. Another question for yah. Would you reccomend the UCAs? I recently installed the fox 2.0 and I am very happy with them. However I wish they were smoother over these rough and jagged Hawaiian roads haha. Thanks for your input! Have s good dayUCAs definitely make for a smooth ride, glad I did the package.
I think they will help you achieve a smoother ride, although someone could make an argument against.Hey FL.Ranger hope you're well. Another question for yah. Would you reccomend the UCAs? is that with a stock wheel? does it rub on the knuckle? spacers? If it helps at all this is the clearance of a 285/70 on a 2" level at full lock. So guess maybe 1/4" clearance from the bar?
Thanks for posting this Tyler - tire size, lift height, and what did, or didn't, happen to intrusion bars really helps so many forum members make informed decisions. I think I read a thread where you reached out to the group to help make your final choice - you've "been there, done that" and now you've likely saved others a lot of work. Thanks man!BFG KO2’s 275/70R17
