5000 miles owned 16 months no dings (garaged)

Hate dings...I bought wide running boards and a Bug Deflector II to keep the leading edge of the hood protected

With about 2.5k miles, the sides have multiple scratches from pine trees on tight trails and dented skid plates.

Doesn't bother me, I have a 350z I'm trying to make into my garage queen.
yeah I'm headed up to Northfork Reservoir in a couple of weeks and that trail is 10 miles of rocks and a lot of willows crowding the road. Was talking to a friend considering a Ford Ranger or a Tacoma, he wouldn't consider a full size pickup as the extra width wouldn't let him drive on some very narrow roads. The skid plates dent pretty easily ?

10k miles (2k are mine) and already has a ding that I don’t know where it came from. Possibly camping but I’m not sure. Oh well, it’s a truck right?

Not really, I've hit it pretty good a few times and you cant really see anything till you get down and look close.

Coming up on 1 year now and not one scratch or ding. But I'm super OCD and park way out away from everyone. Even when we go off road I try and stay away from really scrubby areas and I carry clippers and a saw. I know it's a truck but there's no way I could beat mine up like some do. There's nothing wrong with that but it would make me sick if mine was all dinged and dented up. Crap maybe I shouldn't have responded to this,I hope I didn't just curse myself now. lol :lipssealed:

I washed mine a couple days ago and found a chip on the TOP of the cab! I have no idea how that happened....

My truck has a few small chips here and there, and one dent I did myself but otherwise in good shape after 15 months of ownership. And I haven't babied it.

No dings, but I recently noticed the start of some Sierra Pinstriping above the rear right wheel. The brush up here is not forgiving at all. Also found a nick on the left rear wheel. Must have rubbed against a rock on one of the trails.

No dings, the doors are fairly solid on mine, but the paint chips like hell, luckily they are not that noticeable with the ingot silver.

Helped a buddy move some furniture, scratches on the spray in bedliner. But it's a truck, so it's inevitable.

Only 3k miles so far (thanks COVID). I gave my self a pretty good scare within the first couple hundred miles when opened the driver door into some crap I had leaning against the wall in the garage, and immediately saw the giant "scratch" it left. Upon closer inspection, it turned out it was just a rub mark that waxed right out. Phew!

I've got some pretty good scuffs in the bed. I'm not so worried about those because 1) it's a truck that I bought for doing truck things with, and doing truck things puts scuffs in the bed; and 2) at some point I'll be getting LineX sprayed in.

Did get a very minor scratch on the passenger side that I think came from a kid (not sure if my own or one of the neighbors they play with) brushing against it with their bike. Barely visible and I don't think it even penetrates all the way through the clearcoat.
