I would be very interested. About 50% of my miles are towing at 10-11 Mpg. The stock tank goes empty quickly.

I was about to ask what you are towing but I saw the profile picture and that was all i needed to know. It nice to see what these trucks are capable of.

I am interested, but the price of these things looks pretty high. At these prices I can buy three jerry cans and carry them outside the bed for a whole lot less and have money left to fill said tanks several times! For example, https://longrangeamerica.com/shop-tanks/

So I am interested, but not at a $2,000 price tag. Maybe if I pulled a trailer or something.
Holy crap $$$...I'm interested but only at about 1/4 the price. That may simply mean I'm not the target market.

Your Grand Design Trailer, what Model is that? Length? Very nice trailer and the model I’m most interested in.

I wont argue that it is a high price but here are a few things to consider. These tanks are made in Australia and therefore will have to be shipped from Australia. Being Australian made it wond be a cheap part from China that everyone would like to swear by. This is also a purpose built item and as the saying goes if you want to play you have to pay. As for the jerry can idea, it isnt bad if you arent putting much in the bed if that is where they are going so it limits your avalible space in the bed which is a bummer if you have a crew cab like me. Just things to consider.

Something I will add since I mentioned cheap Chinese products. There are plenty of people that spen over $1,000 on cheap Chinese wheels. Those particular brands are Fuel, XD, and Motive. You could have spent the same for some wheels by OZ from Italy but didn't. You also got the wheels for looks over functionality and yet you have a problem spending$2,000 for a quality product out of Australia that gives functionality. Think about that for a bit, and yes this is more directed towards a fair bit of people. Not just the guy I responded too.

Fuel range is something I complain about a lot -- my 14 F150 had the 36 gal option an I could easily cruise 500+ miles. Ford really should've put another 4-5 gallons in the tank. to give a good 4-500 mile cruising range but, I honestly don't think Id mess with it as an add on its just not worth it to me. I do carry a 5 gallon can on long trips because safe range (leaving a reasonable reserve) on this truck is a little over 300 miles even less if towing id imagine. I don't want to be the guy who has to stop for 'last chance gas for 200 miles' for $5 a gallon,........ Tank size is defiantly an oversight on this model. I wold be more interested if we could have an add on tank but I realize that is a much more complex installation. With a straight up tank replacement Id fear emissions issues / fuel pump issues and gauge reading issues.

Emissions wont be an issue, for the fuel pump it shouldn't be an issue either as the tank will be designed for the factory fuel pump. As for the gauge reading that can be taken care of at your local Ford dealer or if you have ForScan then you are clear as you can make the adjustment there as well.

2019 Imagine XLS 18 RBE. They call this an 18 footer, but the tape measure says the box is about 19' plus 3' of hitch so 22' hitch ball to bumper. With a full tank of water and propane and all our other camping crap it weighed in at 5300 lbs. Ranger pulls the hills with this trailer very well. However, if I hold 60 mph up a 6% grade, it sucks the fuel, as one would expect. The trailer is well built and we love it.

Thanks it’s a nice looking unit, GD is in the top 3 in quality so I wish you years of enjoyment with it.

Would be awesome to add even 4-6 more gallons. Something I didnt really consider when I bought mine was the refilling every 320 miles. Kind of a bummer that they didnt put in a 22 or so gallon tank.

I'm not surprised about the negative feedback from that last post I made. Things you need to understand to if I am listening to point being made. There are fair points like those who do not need it because they hardly drive to begin with. There are also those who questioned the clearance issue. When the price point is mentioned you have to remember what you are buying. If there is something I have learned over the years is American's(yes myself included) are cheap. If you want a good product you are going to have to pay. Dont want a good product then dont pay. It has already been stated by another member how Long Range Automotive is well known and has good products. Now if you still think you would rather just pay for a few gas cans that is fine but also understand 3 issues I have found(and only one is minor). Issue 1 is you have to plan for space if you dont have a mount for the can. Issue 2 is still have stop to fill up(I myself would rather fill 1 tank and call it good). As for ussue 3 is with the lovely capless fuel filler ford has. With that it does become an interesting process to fill the tank with a can since a funnel of sorts will be needed and hopefully you dont spill fuel in the process thanks to tue lovely EPA designed fuel can spouts(I have yet to meet someone who actually likes them). Just some food for thought.

Extremely Interested.
5 star tune, 33 inch tires, and rooftop tent are getting me 14 city / 18 highway.
Interested for off road treks, too little bed space for jerry can.
Protruding too low / no skid plate might prevent me from buying. Over 500 dollars might also prevent that lol
