That first trip is always a nail biter at least is was for me. My first trip was to a large parking lot on a Sunday. I actually had my wife film the whole thing. Of course everything went fine but you just never know. Good luck and safe travels.

Hello, I no longer own a Ranger and have a complete 4 down tow set up with all Blue Ox equipment available. Patriot 3 brake system is brand new ( used once) all cables , controls, tow bar, and Ranger specific tow plates available. Will sell complete set up for a good price but buyer pays shipping.

Hello, I have decided not to flat tow my Ranger any more. ( going fifth wheel route)and would like to sell all of my Blue Ox tow equipment . I would also consider selling the vehicle as well if anyone wants a complete tow ready Ranger. Let me know if there is interest from the Ranger Community.

Nice septup how did that V10 perform on the hills. What was your highway speed? Did your MPH suffer greatly towing the Ranger. I have a very similar set up and expect to get 6-7 mph. I canceled all my western trips and plan to stick with the NE .

The idea is when your trailering or off-road your able to get more miles between fill ups.

What mileage are you getting and distance between fill ups?.

Yah that’s not gonna work(150mile refuel) I contacted an Australian company about their fuel tanks , I’ll post their reply when it comes. My guess is if a lot of people inquire about it , a company here in the Good ‘ole USA will get around to it.

I agree with Greg, my concern would be mileage and frequent stops for fuel. Phil does Ford have an extended range tank or maybe an after market option? The Aussie version can be equipped with after market fuel tank.
