  1. XLT vs Lariat - differences

I ordered my 2019 Lariat without the B&O sound and without the rain-sensing wipers, so that is not part of the Lariat package. I think that if you go to the order page, it will give you all this minutiae in a list. one of the things I recall that pushed me over the Lariat line was the...
  2. Picture request: white Coopers. And then what with the old ones?

I am interested in a low-mileage set of 18" Hankook take-offs. I am located in Northern New Mexico and, for the right price, might drive as far as Denver, Flagstaff, Lubbock, or El Paso to pick them up. And I will be driving to San Jose in January 2022.
  3. New Tires

Does anyone in the New Mexico region have a set of 18" Hankook low-mileage take-offs they would sell to me?
  4. Newest update!

Do the 4x4 stickers come in gold color? I have gold trim all over, pinstripes, gold "Ranger", gold calipers. For me, that would be worth doing.
  5. Picture request: white Coopers. And then what with the old ones?

I need a set of "takeoff" 18" tires. Anybody near Albuquerque, Denver, or El Paso?
  6. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

  9. What octane fuel/petrol do you use?

You aren't seeing the '67 Norton P11 up in front of my Commando, either.
  10. What octane fuel/petrol do you use?

I know that it would be quicker with 93 but it runs fine with "pool" 87 and I still have more than sufficient passing power. But if I were a few decades younger...
  11. No more engine cover for the Lariat

The engine cover is one of the reasons I liked the Lariat package. And, I HAVE used the gas funnel. It works fine.
  12. What is the best Ranger color?

My last truck, an '05 F150, was a lovely light tan color called, I think, Arizona Beige. I would have got that same color again of I could have. But I could not, so I got Ingot Silver. Living in NM, sun reflection was my primary impetus, followed by not showing dirt since I do not believe in...
  13. Just Hit 20k Miles After 10 Months of Ownership - Fuel Economy Insights

I get between 22 and 23 every tank, on my calculator. I use 86 octane and always use the cruise city and highway. Because of our wonder enforcement personnel here, I never go more than about five over. I traded my F150 because of the 15 mpg and told my wife I would be content with 20 mpg.
  14. Ford Sport Bar

Around here those are called "headache bars".
  15. Using 4 wheel drive

I sometimes have experienced a delay while shifting "on the fly". I now let off the gas for a moment when I shift to give gears a chance to mesh (I realize the difference between mechanical and electronic, but I am an analog guy in a digital world). Using 4x4 on wet pavement will give you some...
  16. Where’s your dog?

Kya and Chika at home at 7,400' in the Jemez Mountains. Both of these girls are rescue dogs so we can not rule out mountain goat parentage. Most roads are not just this steep, but you can see why 4x4 is essential here
  17. Long range fuel tank

I am interested in this, pending price information.
  18. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Parked next to some ponderosa pines.
  19. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

This particular Norton is an 850, my '67 P11, elsewhere here, is a 750. All Nortons are Snortons.
