I just ordered this kit recently but am now questioning my decision. Your truck looks killer but you think you could post a pic from a straight on side view? A lot of people have complained about this kit because it does not raise the truck as much as they had hoped. What are your impressions in terms of esthetics and handling/ride? Also could you tell me what size those Firestones are? Thanks for your help!
Best one i’ve got. I’m not sure what the exact lift was, because I didn’t measure before. I wasn't too worried about it because I still wanted a tiny rake, otherwise I would have went to the 2.5. The hardware that comes with it sucks. The spacers are great. Basic stuff. The Firestone’s are 265/70/17. If I had to do it again, I would have went with the Fox kit. If you just want a cheap level, just pick one. Hope that helps.

Wow another awesome pic. Yeah that helps a lot. Thanks. Maybe I will keep that kit and have it installed then. The more I see trucks with a very slight rake the more I like them vs fully leveled. And yeah I was basically just looking for a good basic leveling kit. What is your reasoning for saying you would opt for the Fox kit if doing it over? Price isn’t my biggest deciding factor, I’m not going to be doing any heavy off-roading so not sure I need the Fox kit unless the ride was far superior.

No reason other than upgraded shocks and coils for the little roads around here. I won’t really wheel this Ranger as I have a Jeep Rubicon on 37’s I use for most off-road treks. I will say this truck rides pretty damn good but I wish it had a little less sway. I ordered some rear Fox shocks to see if it takes some of that away.

Alan,

I just ordered the ReadyLift Kit off Amazon Prime, looks like I might be sending it back. How does it ride though? Similar to Stock? Thanks. Which 2.5" kit did you get?
I noticed no change in the ride. ReadyLift makes a 2 inch and a 3 inch kit. I have the 2 inch. I agree the spacers (2 piece Top and bottom) are great quality and the hardware ho hum.
Here are my measurements after the kit was installed....OEM Dynapro AT’s.

Drivers side - Ground to wheel well 36 3/8 (Rear 37 3/8)
Passenger side- Ground to wheel well 36 7/8 (Rear 37 7/8)

This gave me exactly a 1 inch rake which I initially liked....but after looking at it for a couple months raising the front another 1/2-1 inch would be perfect....as least thats what I think. Depending on the angle you look at it sometimes it looks ok but to me most of the time it needs the extra lift. I’ll be increasing tire size bit not until the oem Dynapro’s wear.
I came across a RC 2.5 kit deal I couldn’t pass up and will hopefully be installing that this weekend.....I’m hopeful it will give me the extra 1/2-1 inch I’m looking for. I think this is the way to go for now but if I was going to be running the truck off road and such I’d really be looking into the Eibach or Fox kits.
I’ll probably be posting the ReadyLift kit in the marketplace next week if all goes well.

2.5 ruff country. 18 inch lariat wheels. 1 inch spacers go on this weekend. But the spacers aren’t needed as I have no rubbing issues.

Hey, Big D., truck looks great! How do you like those Wranglers? I am looking to replace the stock Hankook ATM tires on my Lariat (18 inch wheels, came with the Black Appearance Package) as soon as they start showing wear, and I am seriously considering Wranglers. Any experiences you care to share would be appreciated!

So far I love em. They are as quite as stock. They ride like stock and I got em for a hell of a price on discounttiredirrect.

Thanks, man, I appreciate it. I read a lot of reviews on the web, but I don't trust them like I trust members' recommendations.

Got the 2" BDS leveling kit with the BDS UCA's installed last month along with the NX2 Shocks (kinda wish I upgraded to the Fox rears...but oh well...I will more than likely upgrade to the Fox 2.0's all around eventually)

Loving the look and the ride much better than stock.

Will be taking it in to get re-torqued soon, but wanted yalls opinion on the ball joint boot on passenger side...it appears secure and sealed well just looks different than the drivers side.
