New member here.
Truck has less than 1000km.
Just did the install myself of the Fox 2.0 Ford tuned suspension.
Pretty easy install.

QuickTip: there are a lot of YouTube videos out there on how to do it. I would stick to the Fox Ford performance instructions they seem to be the best and the most up-to-date. It’s really important you remove the axle nut so you don’t disconnect the CV by accident.

Next installed a set of Cooper AT3 XLT in a 265/70/18.....this is a 32.64 inch tire.
Fits without any mods.

Another great example of how to achieve a great look while avoiding issues.
  • Proper level/lift
  • Stock wheels
  • Right-sized tires
Nice stance, wheel wells filled in nicely - awesome.

Looks great! I have the same Fox/Ford kit still in the box. Am waiting to go to go to a friends place for a second set of hands. good advice on following the printed instructions
Thanks for comment.
If you have any questions on the Fox install let me know. It’s still fresh in my memory.

Looks great! How do you like the ride?
Honestly....I wasn’t expecting a major difference in the ride....but I was wrong.
The Fox 2.0 seems to be a tighter ride....less body roll....definitely a bit stiffer....everything I wanted.
It is a truck and needs to ride like one and be able to handle a bit of off-road....I wasn’t looking for a “car-like” ride.

I am very happy with the Fox 2.0 and Cooper AT3 on 18s overall setup.

Is your Speedo still within spec, or did it require adjustment? I think it looks great and i am interested in doing same, my2019 FX4 is mushy ....

The truck looks good.

Here is a YouTube video by Josh Mills that at about 4:30 into the video shows a technique to remove the strut without removing axle nut and there is no stress put on the CV because the upper control arm is holding everything up. A coworker of mine had a spring compressor, so he worked on my truck and decided to use this method with no troubles.

Thank you for the post. Seems like everyone with 18s changes wheels with different specs. I'm glad I'm not the only one keeping the OEM wheels. Makes the decision on tires a bit easier.

How does it do off road?

BTW, couldn't stand the music in that video. I hate when people make videos and put music in instead of talking.

This is what I want, but the full price Fox 2.0 and install nut is hard to swallow. Like the tire size, I love my Black OEM wheels, so good to see there are some larger options out there.

BTW, couldn't stand the youtube video. Don't know why people have to play music in their videos. Tell people what you're doing and why.
