  1. Engine Misfire

I’ve been meaning to update this for months. All it ended up being was a loose connection. It’s been a while, so I don’t exactly remember what they said was loose though. My biggest complaint was how long it took the dealership to even look at my truck, they had it for a total of almost 2...
  2. LEER HF350M - My Tonneau Journey

Thanks! I thought I remembered seeing a picture of that rubber flap, but overlooked it in SN13's post when I went through it again. I guess I need to take the whole cover off to be able to lift up that front edge and pull that rubber out. See what I can do about it this weekend.
  3. LEER HF350M - My Tonneau Journey

Just got my cover installed today. I love it. Looks great. I’m not so sure the front edge was done correctly though, isn’t a piece of rubber supposed to covering the foam?
  4. New Product - Morimoto XB LED Replacement Headlights

    Here is a video...
  5. Engine Misfire

Another update. After a few more weeks in the service dept, they said it was fixed and ready to go. This time they told me all they had to do was install an update on the truck, a couple of the techs drove it afterwards and no misfire. They really didn't tell me anymore details than that. I had...
  6. Rain Sense Wipers

I thought the courtesy wipe was an extra, delayed wipe after you run some washer fluid.
  7. 22 days and counting

I’m having a similar situation. My truck has been at the dealer since June 15 for an engine misfire. I got it back after 2 weeks but the problem was not fixed, they had it back less than 24 hours later. The only excuse I get is that they are busy. In 5 weeks, it’s only been worked on for not...
  8. Ford Points?

I had to go to the service dept first, they did some kind of paperwork and passed that along to the parts dept who ordered the part. IIRC, 42,000 points was worth about $212.
  9. Engine Misfire

According to the sheet they gave me, they only changed the wire going to cylinder 1. It ran great for the first half of that particular tank of gas. I don't have the sheet in front of me to tell you which error code they got, I will try to update when I have that in front of me again. I will...
  10. Engine Misfire

Update - I got my truck back today. The dealership said it was a bad coil wire going to cylinder 1, they replaced it and the problem was fixed. I got on the interstate after picking up my truck, mashed the gas down to pass someone, and it started misfiring again. CEL started blinking. I slowed...
  11. Trailer Sway Control

I'd like to know about this too and would like to add one more question. If I have a weight distribution hitch with sway control, should I turn off the Ranger's sway control feature or does it matter?
  12. Forum member with highest G5 miles.

Geez, I hope they don't find any white liquid in my fuel line. Gas came from a Chevron, so I'm not too convinced it's the gas yet, but we'll see.
  13. Forum member with highest G5 miles.

9900 miles and the truck is currently at the dealer for a misfire. Not 100% sure it's not just bad gas yet. I should know something in the next day or two. Either way, I love this truck.
  14. Engine Misfire

I have yet to use them either.
  15. Engine Misfire

It's a pretty busy station, but I'm honestly not sure how many people are using premium in that area. I had probably gone close to 100 miles on that tank before it started acting up. Just driving normally, it runs fine, it's when I really step on it that it started misfiring.
  16. Engine Misfire

I also have the dealer installed brake controller (not for free) and am missing 2 tie downs in the bed.
  17. Engine Misfire

That is good to know. I've been trying to run it near empty then fill up with 93 right before we leave out.
  18. Charging travel trailer battery

The fridge is a 12V. It does not run off 110 or propane. I'm glad the RV dealer was wrong about needing anything additional, it's nice being able to run the fridge while traveling.
  19. Engine Misfire

93 octane from the same Chevron station I always fill up at. I do usually use 87 though. Just use the higher octane when I'm towing.
  20. Engine Misfire

No, I've never stalled it. No indication that anything was wrong until it happened.
