That spot does that even with the stock bulbs. The gasket seems to be keeping it from being flush. Theres nothing at that spot to be pushing either as the bulb plug is at the opposite top corner. Its flush everywhere else. Theres easily a 1/2” between the bulb and the dust cap. Thats what doesnt make sense.
This post of mine details how my dust covers got scratched up putting in some of the old car rovers. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/led-headlight-bulbs.4589/post-97945

So,I got an email last night from CarRover, but a story first.

I had a problem with the very first CarRover low beam I put in. I contacted them and they very quickly sent me out a new set of bulbs. Shortly after that they had a new design and they wanted me to try them out ( the 1:1 bulbs ). I purchase them and review them. Then they refund me via PayPal. Honestly it seemed a little sketchy, but I figured the newer bulbs did look better and what the heck. Worst case I'm out a few bucks or return them to Amazon. I bought, I reviewed and they refunded me! It was just a little while ago they made me the same offer, but to try the 20,000lm bulbs. Perfect! I needed better high beams anyway. Same deal. Should have money in PayPal this morning in fact. Now back to the beginning...

The email I got last night was to extend the offer to you guys! Send me a PM and I'll forward you the contact info. I get nothing for this and I'm just sending their offer. You buy, you review and they PayPal you the cost of the bulbs. That's it. That's all. Anyone interested let me know.
Send it along if you don't mind! I'm running some of their bulbs from January right now.

Installed Auxito low beams and fogs.

Low beams:

Update:5/26/20 - Every now and then I notice a flicker out of the low beams. Never notice when driving but when in a garage and parked. Has happened at least twice that I've noticed, the first time I thought I just blinked my eyes since it happens so fast.

Fogs:

Just curious if the auto start/stop fluctuation is bad for led bulbs or not? The factory halogens flashed a sec as well upon restart.

I could see this being bad for HIDs but leds I am not sure would matter. Whats your opinion?

There's not quite the cycle of a filament that you'd get on a typical halogen/incandescent bulb, and generally bulbs are pretty resilient. I wouldn't worry about the start/stop fluctuations honestly, I personally don't.

Looks good! Added the fog lights to the list
Thank you! I love the yellow fogs! Came in hand this morning, it was like commuting through London this morning. Here's a few more snaps I took.

FYI - I can confirm these fanless 9005 BEAMTECH bulbs high beams fit. I have already installed these GTR CSP Minis for the low beams. I don't have any pictures yet as I have hadn't had a chance to take some night time photos. I do have a lux meter, so I may try to take some measurements.

I just installed the CarRover lows and Eagle Eyes high beams today. Both appear to be the same company as the boxes and internal literature are the same. The high beams fit great and clocked properly. Nice bright white light.

THe lows were a tight fit. On the driver side I was able to coax the cover on but could not get the passenger side dust cover on to save my life. I would get it to go, but it was only partially hooked on the outside and sad crooked. It was not sealed properly that way. The bulbs sit pretty close to the outside edge of the opening and the little tabs that hook in for the dust cover do not want to fix. I am not sure if I pulled the airbox if I could have gotten it to go or not. I do like the light though. Nice and white. I am not sure about the dust cover situation. It was a little disappointing.

20,000lm for low beams? I though it was decided the 12,000 was about the most without flooding the reflector and getting a lot of light spillage. You will probably get flashed alot.

Agreed. I have the 12,000 lumen Auxitos in the high beams and while they are wonderful for that application, no way I would subject oncoming traffic to that brightness in the low beams. So 20,000 lumen in low beams is insane in my mind. Just my opinion. Everyone is free to do what they want with their truck though of course.

They are using some creative advertising. If you look into it you will see that it is 20000 per pair so up to 10k each.

"High luminous efficacy Flux up to 10,000LM/bulb. "

Couldn’t resist chiming in as well. 20,000 lumen ( if accurate) is gonna cause problems. I initially had the 16k Auxito’s and they overpowered the reflectors spilling over the top. They were simply too bright.
I now also have the 12k Auxito’s ( for the past 3 months) and very happy with them. I can’t imagine 20k for low beams.....that’s just not right.
