Speedometer when everyday driving, tire pressure when leaving a work site, and off road gauges when on a dirt road of any kind. A 4x2 can dream

That is for the adaptive cruise control. I had just tapped the brake to disable or stop the cruise control without actually turning it completely off on the steering wheel control.
Ah. no ACC for me. that's why I have never seen that standby message before.

I agree , but I'm strangely atracted to it ...can't look away...
Reminds me of bananas in Pajama’s kid show. Thank god my kids watched it only a little bit and had no long going interest. It this is still a little traumatic seeing a dancing banana here ?

Current mileage and cruise control most of the time
I also keep the gear display on.
I don't get why it is not always on automatically.
My screen is like this one (2WD STX)

wait, how do you keep the gear display on? Sometimes I have it sometimes not.

Anytime you are in "D" drive you simply push the plus"+" button on the shifter and the gear indicator will display and stay on. If you shift to "S" it will disappear unless you manually shift.

Pay attention about the 45 second mark where they talk about the components of this meme. Note what number 1 is, "Being annoying draws attention," then consider the person using a dancing banana as an avatar. :p

if im on the highway i leave it on speed, gear. about once a trip ill flip to the tire pressure and mpg screens. if im off road where its slow going i will put on the off road screen but its rare i actually need it. maybe 3 times in a year i actually wanted to see if it was as much lean as my seat said it was. i really like the xlt dash. the lariat dash is too much like another sync screen full of jazz i dont really listen too lol. I do want the lariat led head lights, mood lights and leather though.
