When I did the first oil change on mine I found that rubber flap was pulled aside and the push pin was still in place. Just grabbed and ripped I guess.
Thats awful. They should have used a hole saw for a nice clean cut. If they did it good enough everyone who saw it afterwards would assume it was factory. Even those who knew better would convince themselves otherwise.

My truck came with an aluminum cross bed tool box and two flip out side boxes. With them full the weight of the truck without me is 5,000lb. Which leaves me 1,000 for payload.
It adds up quick.
If these are safe for boats I don’t know why they wouldn’t work in a truck. Might be kinda slow to fill your tank though even with an electric pump.
I run 265/75 16 p metric tires at ~40 psi for summer tires.
I run 235/85 16 E load tires at ~40psi for winter tires.
Weight is almost identical because the E loads tires are narrow.
I wish the summer tires were firmer and I wish the winters were a tad softer.

There’s no reason a m+s/ 3peak tire can’t be used year round. Many if not most have mild to moderate all terrain type tread.
Don’t confuse winter only snow tires with m+s / 3 peak tires.
