I like the Ranger but do miss my F150's and their ride. I just wasn't going dive in at 55k for another F150....

I have 2019, been very happy with it. Im retired, recently due to health issues and looking to cut costs so I am considering the Maverick. I like the extremely simple drive of the hybrid. Anyway, If I was looking for another of the Ranger type and I was still working I would most definitely buy another one, hands down.New owner here with 2019 highly optioned XLT 4x4 Crew cab Sport. Excited about my turbo truck. Really stepped outside my comfort zone coming from my tried and true full size Chevy Avalanche of nearly 15 years of pure bliss reliability. Taking a leap of faith with the EcoBoost that has been in the Mustang since 2015 that this little gem will work out for me for the next 15 years, hopefully. How I got excited about the Eco is test driving a new mustang.
I test drove all the midsized pu's (Ridegeline, Frontier, Taco, Colorado) and only came away with a smile from the ZIPPY go fast ford! It has all and I mean all one could ask for safety features and love those push button electric folding mirrors! Only wish for Leather seats but was not going to pay up another $4K for them with the Lariat package when I had all those features already + less the FX4 package which I don't care about.
Those owners now. - Would you buy again given the chance to unring the bell?
I love this truck. It rides great gas mileage is what Ford claimed, roomy , comfortable. Just wish I could keep my foot from kicking in the turbo ??New owner here with 2019 highly optioned XLT 4x4 Crew cab Sport. Excited about my turbo truck. I really get a lot of use from the ranger. its tough enough to do what i need and its got enough off road ability to do things and go places my other truck cant. all while being comfy enough to live with. i would buy it again. a few things id want differently like most everyone . i sold a sweet pristine mustang gt with a six speed, tune and exhaust. every time i see one on the road or hear one that sounds "right" i do miss the muscle car. the feel of the power on tap and the sound was so hard to let go of. about a week after i got the most recent mustang i was stopped at a light with my date in passenger seat and a four door family cuv was in the next lane. we could hear the kids singing with the radio and his wife nagging him and we looked over and the driver was looking down at us and his expression was clearly "send help, please trade places with me" while the wife shook her finger and bitched on at him lol. I felt bad for the guy. me and the girl laughed so much as we drove off. moments like that give me feelings of regret about the ranger. but, im content with it and would not change.New owner here with 2019 highly optioned XLT 4x4 Crew cab Sport. We hope to drive our 19 version for years and wear it out. Ours really does work and we would buy another.Yes. Did buy it again, actually, and very happy I did.
What tires do you have on there. Reason I ask is from the picture, it looks like they are directional tires (snow/winter tires?) and it looks like the front driver tire is going the wrong direction? Could just be the photo's angle though...We hope to drive our 19 version for years and wear it out. Ours really does work and we would buy another.![]()
