My truck at 52k miles is starting to do this really started at 45k or so.
Im still in my basic warranty as well as the esp, has anyone had much luck having a dealer take care of this? I have not read through the 60 pages of this yet but it seems like not much Luck on that.
The sensor is out of...
Piggybacking on this thread since it's the newest , but it seem posts on the forum are 50/50 on which way to orient the fuze tap. My understanding is the far side from the outgoing wire should be on the hot side of thr fuze. Unfortunately my multimeter leads are too fat to fit down in the fuze...
I made the claim with the other parties insurance so we will see, I'm going to guess somwhere in the 15k range, IDK how they are going to fix that corner and the bed is probably a lost cause as the inner wheel well got pushed in pretty bad.
On the good side I haven driven another 150 miles...
My first accident I've been in for about 15 years.
Pretty Slow speed collsion as someone pulled out from streetside parking just as was about parallel with them going 20 mph and caught me close to 90 degrees and tore their bumper off.
Unfortunately damage is quite spread out though, not...
Did you ever figure out anything? I noticed a Chip on mine sadly no idea when or how it happened. Only thing I have slid out of the bed recently was a lawnmower which I admit i did late at night and tired but I don't recall bumping anything
A little bit of a thread revival but does anyone have any guides to adjust the doors, I've been dealing with wind noise issues for the last 1+year.
I already had one dealer replace all my windows seals last year which fixed the noise coming from the mirror area of the driver door although it...
I finally got around to recording some video this is on the highway at around 70-75 mph after changing all window seals. It doesn't come across the video 100 percent but I get a wind gust noise around the rear of the cabin.
Also about 3 months now after getting all my window seals changed I...
I tried a different dealer a little bit further from me and they went ahead and agreed to change all the window seals right away without testing.
It definitely got rid of some noise , previously it sounded like my rear windows were cracked open and I was getting alot of wind noise around the...
Dumped some compost for a friend and was lucky not to rip up the whole driver's side , the trailer only had about 4 inches clearance through the gate and I nailed it the first go around but they wanted it more to one side once past the gate so all the angling got me stuck like this and going...
I'm still considering if I want to pay the extra 1-200 bucks for the OEM unit as an infrequent tower especially since I don't have ACC, sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere but I have noticed some installs grounding to frame using the screw under the kick panel and others just...
Whelp I think mine just started doing it as well, I don't know if it was related or not but I did get a new window from the dealer a few months ago after they scratched up my original.
I might have to go find another dealer at this point , my local one told me 2 weeks until they could look at...
I only read the forum occasionally so I guess I missed the final meltdown.
Thanks for sticking through it all for the sake of the forum I know this kinda thing can suck the enjoyment out of having a forum In the first place.
I would say you are lucky its that quick I had my local dealer take 12 days to fix their own damage on a door by repainting it in house.
Hopefully everyone gets a quick resolution or at least some kind of vehicle assistance
Man either you got a great dealer or you must be a master negotiator. I haven't been shopping for an f150 at all, but have thought about it, but when shopping for my ranger that's how much an 4x4 xlt was going for around me
I agree, I did not notice that much on the test drive, but after a couple 100 miles the buzzing was very pronounced epically at lower speeds which is alot of my driving.
I put one on last week, not drastically quieter for me but it does lower the tone of buzzing noise a good bit and I felt it made enough of a difference to make it worth it.
