That's what you'll need if you don't want issues with the sync3 usb ports being underpowered. There are slight gaps in the panel trims there that you can run the wire through completely concealed and in under Dirk's tray.

The website is a little sketchy. Looks like a different model is out now from what I have. But I can say that it works great! https://cplay2air.com/

Only gripe is that when my wife gets in the truck I need to turn off apple carplay because she wants to connect her bluetooth to play music. Other than that no complaints.

There are plenty on Amazon for less than $90 incl. free shipping. The 3.0 version may only include a USB-C to USB-C cable, if you order one make sure that you get a USB-C (Carlinkit side) to USB-A (Sync 3 side) cable.

I can say @DirkM that this tray/charging pad is probably the best addition I’ve made to my Ranger. I love it and it looks great!
