Folks, we need some plain jane lug nuts for our 2019 xlt to keep the winter rims on. Any suggestions for what and where could we get them? Amzoine is OK by me. thanks!

Most tire shops or wheel sales sites will sell the correct lug nuts to go with the wheels.

My tires shop didn't, so I said "can we get them from our local parts store?" and the reponce was "they don't have these" and that's why I'm asking here.

What Doug said. The size of the 60 degree seat is what’s important here. Are they stock rims or aftermarket? A set of gorilla nuts is about $40 to 50 bucks.

Edit: you want forged steel nuts.

Someone here suggested these rims when i asked "need low cost steel tims for winter" and I'd guess these were made for the lowest dollar rangers. Nonetheless, the original nuts were used on them but my tire shop said when they put them on last fall "I'd get different nuts for winter use, those orginial ones don't do well in salt". Hence I'm looking for steel, lower cost not fancy types.

As long as the bevel is right , I'd use them , salt won't cause any more damage than impacting them on and off , I wouldn't think ...

Its your call but I never had an issue with the Factory lug nuts on the aluminum wheels. As long as they fit the steel wheels I would save money and use those
There is a known issue where they swell and the outer part separates from the other. Prevalent in snow and ice areas. My last five Fords they were replaced quickly with solid lug nuts.

They should not be your tire shop.

Arly these are good ones that are just like the factory but one piece. I’ve had them for 2 years in New England weather and they look new still. $36 bucks for 24 nuts and free shipping
