Do the windshield spray nozzles adjust on the ranger? Mine is pointed so high it goes over the cab and my driver/passenger windows get hit with a ton of overspray leaving water marks.

I dont think so. most likely the culprit is a bad installation, or a piece of junk in the nozzle.

I don’t believe so. Maybe you have some dirt or plane material in it? If someone figures it out I’d love to adjust mine a little lower.

I dont think there is anything stuck in there. It sprays really even and hard. It just shoots really high and not centered on the windshield.

Ironically mine does the same - passenger window gets spotted by the spray - never bothered me- but now am curious if possible to adjust

And the drivers side hits the wiper arm before it starts to move if you just hit the sprayer to clean of gunk.:frown:

Mine did that with rainX blades. Went back to stock and no more failed windshield washing.

Mine also sprays the top of the cab, super annoying.

Interesting, just went out to look at mine and see if they’re adjustable. Long ago used to be able to stick a needle in the spray hole and direct the ball to spray where you wanted. This is now attached to the hood of the truck and clips on in a way that it doesn’t look like there is any adjustment to it. I’m sure there is a trick to removing one and really looking at how it’s assembled but didn’t want to chance busting it getting it off. I can also see how higher wiper blades will interfere with its spray pattern and block it if to high.

Most nozzles generally do adjust...although I haven't checked ours...the orifice is a tiny ball joint with a hole in it...stick a needle in the hole as an aiming tool and adjust...

Drive faster, then activate the windshield sprayer.

I know that sounds like a joke, but I think Ford aims them high intending them to be used at speed. I know that some people intentionally pull in front of others at 20-30 mph and activate their sprayers with the intention of dousing the vehicle behind them.

I want to say I put sprayers from a honda odyssey on my 1st gen tacoma to get a spray pattern rather than a stream, wonder if any of the other ford models would drop in
