I didn't watch the video, but my take on trucks from today is that I live in Canada and our forests are burning, and towns are ablaze, and you just cant evacuate with all your possessions in a trailer towed behind a Maverick. Heck my Ranger isn't even up to the task.
But on the flip side, all...
screw the Ranger Raptor, actually screw all the Rangers, all the competition and screw trucks in general....I'm selling everything and living out of this car if i have to. I'll rent a uhaul when i need to buy some wood.

A record high for corn is 177 bushels per acre. So thats 477 gallons per acre.
15.1 billion bushels of corn a year in the US means 40.7 billion gallons of ethanol.
135.5 billion gallons of fuel used a year in the US.
Mercury says I can use up to 10% in my motor. It was new in 2008.
I wonder if I can make a claim to my government when the mandated 15% takes effect and my motor dies a sad ethanol death?
I haven't put any soundproofing into my Ranger, but I have noted its one of the quietest interior vehicles I have owned outside of the F150.
Unless I open the windows I don't hear much outside unless its really loud in comparison. Like sirens, aftermarket exhausts, grossly proportionate knobby...
Regarding the booger, it depends if I like the person as to whether I would let them know or not.
I hang with people like me, who also don't sugar coat things. The brutal honest truth is better in my opinion.
The carrier bearing is a softie
If too soft you're drive shaft will go out of alignment and give you all sorts of things to complain about through various modes of twirling.
It would be nice if an aftermarket bearing could be installed that's stiffer, and we could see if its a positive change...
The door is a slight trapezoid, so I'm guessing the taper to the bottom has an effect.
Hopefully someone has a picture with the door panel off.
Enough guys have lined their doors for sound proofing.
