I put WT’s on 22 Ranger and EGR’s on wife’s 21 Bronco Sport, WT not available.

Kind of like the EGR better as I got hers in matte black and they seem to blend in better.

id say both are equal quality.

Mr. Big Face recently broke my rear driver's side window visor when he opened the window on the highway and jammed his giant watermelon head out before there was enough room for it. He pushed the front of the visor off the tape, then the wind caught it and folded it in half. I ordered a set of WeatherTechs to replace the AVL set.

I generally lock the rear windows after putting them up, but forgot that time. If Ford would move the switches to the side panel, instead of putting them on the dog step arm rest, it would help a lot.

Anyone have problem with line of sight out the window? Is it annoying to have that darker strip in your view?

Can anyone recommend window deflectors that look good and don't break the bank? i think I would prefer the "tape on" style like the OEM's so they don't interfere with the window operation.

Thanks!

I always get the Weathertech ones that fit into the window channel. They have never interfered with the window operation. IMHO, the stick on ones look tacky and I would go without before using them.

One time I bought AVS ones when the Weathertech were out of stock. While they looked good and the fit the channel OK the plastic would distort your vision if you looked through them.

I have the EGR in channel, have not had any issues, love the look and have proven durable so far.

so i have the weathertech inchannels ready to install today. for those with supercabs that have these, are the clips really necessary? i had weathertechs on my raptor and there were no clips, and had no problems with them staying in, but that was 10 years ago.

Not a supercab but I did not use the clips for my screw and no problems.

Scab here, with the WT. Never used the clips....almost 2 years now with no problems.
In fact. I don't remember if clips came with mine...I'll have to check my filed instruction sheet.....

Phil,
I used the clips because that's what the instructions directed to do. Not sure if they are necessary or not... quality material deflectors, sturdy and no issues.

Weird....pulled the instructions for mine....shows clips and a little clip install tool...BUT...the clips and tool weren't included with mine. And, yes, it was new in original packaging. :whew:
