I never use Velcro on dash covers.
A strong cross wind will move it.
Steep bouncy off-road inclines can make it slide off. Then I toss it in the back seat until later.
Other than that, it stays put.
No velcro is working for me so far. My Cell Phone holder keeps the Dash Cover in place.

Went with the Black DashDesigns DashTex. Fits nice.

Looks nice. How does the DashTex deal with the cubby on top of the dash? Some have a flap, some have a complete molded fitment.

James,
There is a flap at the bottom that fits nicely in the cubby. I've been very pleased with the DashTex.

Took some pictures. It is a Coverking custom molded dash cover for the Ranger.

I never cared for the look of a dash cover. And with today's UV resistant materials and UV protectant glass, I'm not sure it is needed, except maybe for heat protection.

Aside: Did you cross or piss off someone? Looks like a sniper was trying to get a lock on you.

I was thinking that as well. I put 155k on my '12 Focus and the dash was perfect when I sold it, but I do remember a few times fighting glare.

Dash covers are needed where I live in a hot, dry, desert climate. I have seen dashboards dry out and crack because of no covering to protect them. Also, they help to reduce glare.

No sniper. Just my parking laser.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I ordered a black velour Dash Designs dash cover through my dealer using the remainder of my Ford pass rewards. It matches the ebony interior. The cutouts for the vents, storage tray (there is a well designed flap extending off the cover to fit into the storage tray) and Pre-collision indicator were exactly in the right positions. The overall size was a perfect fit everywhere. The seams were smooth and uniform. I used the velcro fasteners and the cover lies flat with no ripples or humps.

I have this one also, fits well and looks good. I cut the tray flap off, trimmed it to fit my Ham Radio bracket and slipped it back in.

Will the dash cover cut down on the reflection that you get on the windshield from the dash

Another example of a Coverking Custom Molded Dash Cover, in Charcoal, in a '20 Lariat. Sixty-four bucks plus $11 shipping, ordered direct from Coverking. Fits every contour precisely.

That dash tray in the first pic...kinda reminds me of when Mt St Helens blew and the layer of ash that covered everything.

No there is not Phil. The speakers are the A pillars, in the front doors, and the rear doors. Total of 6.
Mine has the B&O system and it has a the center channel speaker in the dash. I replaced it along with all of my speakers.

I have a theory I thought about after I made my post. My truck has Copilot 360 as well as the FX4 package. Both of those packages Upgrade the standard XL monochrome instrument panel with the XLT full color panel. I think that's the difference. I've had pre collision go off before and my cluster turned bright red and made a very annoying warning beep. I think I'd rather have lights like yours that illuminate on the windshield.
I will have to go double check my 19, it's loaded but I don't recall seeing that on my dash. Mine pre collision warning has gone off a couple of times but it's audible and I've only seen visual warning on the dash in front of me.
