Cover for shiny dash panel?

Today went for a ride with my wife and it's a real sunny day. She complained about how that shiny panel over the glovebox was constantly reflecting sun Ray's in her eyes. The glare off it really bothers her eyes that are very sensitive due to Sjogrens and I am wondering if anyone has found a solution to cover it? Something like a low gloss carbon fiber cover would probably work good or anything that has a flat non reflective finish. Or is it easy to remove and possibly have it wrapped with a dull material. She suggested covering it in duct tape but that would look terrible.

IIRC it pops off with the vents on both sides. Wrap with flat material would probably look the best and solve the problem

I haven't covered mine but the panel is very easily removed.

Here are the steps I used for a phone holder

Then just pop it off at the passenger side.

Wow thanks. I didn't realize it would pop right out. I thought there may have been an airbag behind it.

Thanks. I saw one for dash covers but I just want something to cover that one panel and not the dash.

Mine actually come with flat black dash trim. Maybe that's part of the Splash package.
