Got a nice surprise in the mail today from Ford Motor Company. I’ve been paying a little extra each month on the Ranger but hadn’t really thought about it that closely. Set up automatic payments and let it roll. Ended up paying it off 8 months early. It was a zero percent loan so I didn’t really...
Moving back and forth from my Ranger and the 66 Mustang makes me appreciate the features the Ranger has. I like that the Mustang is so simple and basic. The only thing it has is power steering. EVERYTHING else is manual. Locks, windows, brakes, no dimming mirror, having to use two separate keys...
Not my personal style, but at least they look like they are still functional. I'm not sure people realize those are actual vents and are part of the cooling system. Probably not a huge deal but Ford engineered them for a reason.
I just got my survey too. Haven't filled it out yet but It will be just like my last one. LOVE the truck with zero problems. My only complaints are: no split folding rear seat (which I obviously knew about when I bought it) and with size 14 shoes, my toe catches the heater duct under the dash...
veering off topic a little, but I love the 56's but nothing makes me gag faster then raising the hood and seeing a GM 350 under there. I'm like "what's up? The distributor is on the wrong end!"
Each time you visit a (Ford) dealer for maint/service they run the VIN and check for any open recalls. Takes good care of the customer and recalls are actually another source of income for the dealer. A win/win deal for both. Yet one more reason why only myself and the dealer touch my cars.
I'm going to venture a guess and say he must have a damper and now he has weakened to the point where the power steering requires too much effort to properly steer.
And I stupidly worry about silly things like terminally ill brother, daughter's husband being killed last year, mice infestation in our house etc. I need to prioritize "first world problems" I guess. Seriously, when I wrote service for Kia years back, that was a common fob problem. It's one of...
Welcome. Hope you enjoy your new ride. I might as well start the digs already....not all of us consider the damper a "must have" thing. It's a vitamin/man card thing....lol, Anyway, congrats and welcome!
I like to think of others....LOL. A Mustang Mach-E GT high performance for "the wife" and a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse for me. Anyone open to a "go fund me"?
