Born in Buffalo, NY and have lived in San Bernardino, CA, Japan, Chandler, AZ, El Paso, TX (the only place i know of that you can stand knee-deep in mud and have sand blowing on your face), and currently in Roseville, CA which is north of Sacramento. Sometimes the politics here can be depressing but my children and grandchildren live close so I stay. Besides, it doesn't snow here. The Sierras are close and the ocean is only a couple of hours drive away.
