Suppose I could include the nest!!!Mutts on the trails over the weekend and at camp. These kids camp by to point out a wasp nest in a tree and coddle the mutts.
This is what a hornet can do to a horse fly. Typically hornets will not bother you unless you bother them but I can see in a public area the need for them to be gone. I had a nest above my basketball goal one summer and we all got along fine. My dad said if you shoot a hornets nest with a 22 the hornets will follow the trail of the bullet back to you, never tried to see if that was true.Suppose I could include the nest!!!
Doing trail work every summer, we get stung, multiple times each year. So we eliminate them as they are found. We also carry epi pens with us. That species will survive but a person might not the next 2 stings.
sad too hear it.It is with a very heavy heart and complete sadness that I am announcing that I had to put my 8 year old Frenchie "Pierre" down just this past Tuesday, shown here guarding my then 1 month old 2020 S/Cab.
Pierre's body was ravaged by a rare form of lymphoma, the wretched disease spread rapidly through his body in a matter of days.
The second pic shows him @ a photoshoot just this past April.
