Check out https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/ to try out different offsets. With stock size tires and rims (255/65R17) a 0 offset would push the tire out 2.17". If the flares are 1.5" additional width and you wanted the same look as stock but pushed out you'd be looking at something like a 15mm offset.Hey, so i ordered some OE type fender flares and im looking to get some wheels. Which offset would i want if I wanted the tires around flush with the edge of the flares? I was thinking around a 0?
Thanks so much!
Im looking at 18s so its showing a -12 with 2.64" push. And the flares say they have a 2.5" tire coverage, so I think this would be ideal?Check out https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/ to try out different offsets. Ideal is relative to each person, some folks want a lot of poke and others want flush. In my case I want flush and I have 1.5" extra on each side so I'm looking for a combo of rim / tire that pushes out close to 1.5" like a +30mm wheel + 285/70R17 goes out to 1.58"Im looking at 18s so its showing a -12 with 2.64" push. Have you given any thought to your crash bars? The further out you push your tires, the closer you push them toward the crash bars when your wheels are turned. The lines represent the crash bars - the shaded tires are the “new” position.Im looking at 18s so its showing a -12 with 2.64" push. Those look great! Thanks for the photos, I would've though they would've gone farther out of the fender than that... might have to switch my thinking to +20 with flares or +35 without

Crash bar situation? Rub at all?

Very slight rub, getting Fabtechs installed on Monday. Could have avoided that by choosing the BFG ATs, or Wrangler DuraTracs, as they run narrower.Crash bar situation? Rub at all?
