Charlie is right, -12mm will make our truck look like a skateboard. I have a 15mm offset and my 275s are about flush with my pocket flares. 20-25mm will allow for a slightly wider tire without pushing things out too far.

Use this link to learn more about wheel offsets and to see how different offsets change the tire position.

So instead of a -12 you are saying a positive 20 -25mm? Just trying to clarify.

Best 18” setup I’ve seen - looks like bars are intact too. Nice!

@Fawnbuster - this appears to be in that sweetspot (32” tire, slight poke with modest positive offset of +18mm, 18” wheels)

Crash bars intact and no trimming? Your truck looks like a beast!

Thanks.
Bars are in place but very close to rubbing but only at full lock.

Fine for city streets but maybe not off-road. I’m in that sweet spot but with a 17” wheel - 32” tire, +15mm offset.

I have 1/2” clearance on fronts, less on rears - received ReadyLIFT Anti-Intrusion Beams over the weekend- will install them soon. I could get away without changing the fronts but I like doing the work.

I went with 0 offset and 33x11.5, came out exactly how I wanted but trimming the crash bars was necessary.

Ps front is turned that’s why it looks like it’s poking a lot lol.

I just had the very front ones removed when I had the lift done. I then installed the BDS after market ones. I think I am going to switch them to the Readylift ones though. They look a lot sturdier than the ones I have now.

-12 offset might be a bit too much (in my opinion). I have 0 offset wheels with 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W times.

Note that even with 265/70/17 tires, they will still rub the crash bars at full lock slightly with that aggressive of a negative offset. My current wheel/tire setup rubs my crash bars ever so slightly. Not sure if you wanted to remove your crash bars or not so thought I would mention it.

What are your wheel specs? How wide at 0 offset is this?
