What leaf springs are you currently running?

MountainMan, When you say the pinion are you speaking about the ring and pinion final drive gears in the rear or the intermediate support bearing in the drive shaft? I am a little confused.

Yeah, what i mean is when one lifts the rear you're raising the the angle of the rear pinion gear (rear differential) so if you experience a shudder in your driveline, usually when you're starting from a dead stop in this instance, you need to use an angled block(s) between your axle perch and leaf springs to adjust the rear pinion angle back down so it's in phase with the output shaft at the transmission.

It may also be necessary to shim the carrier bearing in the center of the driveshaft down as well, depending on where you're experiencing shudder while driving.

This image is kind of an example, if you had a one piece drive shaft. The 4th example (Very Bad) is essentially what i'm trying to explain here.
