Don't want to.hijack this thread, so i can start a new one. But, i am one bolt in already stuck. The nut that holds the upper end link to the knuckle spins, but doesn't move. So, I can't get it off. It's the 18mm at the top of the knuckle.

Any ideas how to remove it if it won't back out?

socket or Allen key on end of link bolt - turn nut - can’t remember which.

Edit: I see Bob above has come to the rescue.

It won't tighten nor loosen

Got it off with a t40 in the bolt, and a socket on the nut. No idea how i'm going to torque it later

I wasnt able to torque mine. Just tightened it up. I checked it a week later and again when I rotated my tires.

You would need a pass thru torque wrench or a torque Crescent wrench along with the allen key to torque it to spec. $$$$$

I have a regular pass thru socket set and it’s a great arrow to have in the quiver.

You can always just get it as tight as you can with the allen key and wrench, then see if it has enough bite to not spin while you check it with a regular torque wrench. It’s just the anti-sway bar link, so it’s not a critical steering or suspension component, so if it comes loose, it’s not a big deal. In fact, some folks temporarily remove those links for off-roading.

How do you know if you overextended the inner cv?

I cant get the knuckle anywhere close to the upper arm. Axle isnt all the way back in, but that wont be enough to get it there

I ended up using a Jack on the passenger side to get it to where I could connect the upper arm.

Well, i took off the brake caliper and rotor so i could access the axle. Took the wheel end out the hub, and the inner side seems in there. Wont rotate, not mushy or anything

You mean jacked up the opposite side you were working on?

No. Like Duke said earlier, the entire front end needs to be off the ground. So the the passenger that was giving me fits got the Jack under the lower arm and slowly raised the lower arm and knuckle up to meet with the upper arm.

it would also help to have someone else use the Jack while you push and guide the knuckle to the upper arm.
