I traded in a 2020 Ecosport - I only had it for a year and a half, and while it had push button start and drove and rode fine, it was too slow and the storage was a joke - I'd been wanting a truck, so in December I went to the dealership I usually buy vehicles from just to see what it was worth, and left in my 2021 white XLT Sport.

I had a '21 Subaru Outback Onyx XT for about 1.5 years... it was great, awesome daily driver. Had a 2 inch lift from LP Aventure, Primitive Racing Skid Plates, Falken Wildpeak Trails (235/65R17) on Motegi MR139s, Diode Dynamics SSC2 Ditch lights (not pictured), and a few other goodies. My only major issue with the car, was that it wasn't a pickup truck like my two previous vehicles.

I enjoyed the size of the outback coming from a Silverado 1500, so the Ranger was the perfect compromise of the two previous vehicles I had as far as size and utility (just a slightly smaller bed).

Got an awesome trade-in deal towards my 22 Lariat that had just dropped on the lot and the rest is history.

Now I'm busy modding the crap out of my Ranger?. (Hopefully wheels, tires and suspension work in the next couple weeks)

I traded in a 2nd gen Tacoma TRD Sport with just over 200k miles and a blown head gasket. I had just had the truck flat bedded from SC to Orlando, and with enough Bars Leak in the cooling system to stop up the Suez Canal, I was able to drive it to my friendly Ford dealer. I was prepared to tell them the ugly truth about the engine if they asked, but they never did, and offered me $6500 for the truck as trade-in. Grinning like a butcher's dog, I took it. It was a great truck, but the new Ranger is leagues better.

Sold my 2014 Harley Streetglide for $13,600. Took that money and paid off my 2018 Tacoma Sport. Drove it to Lincoln and they gave me $34K for trade for my '22 XLT. $10K difference and added on 6yr/125K bumper to bumper warranty. Loving the Ranger! Waaaaaay better than the Tacoma!

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, and it was built. Bilstein B5100 Suspension with 1 and 1/4th inch lift on the front for a more perfect level stance. Export Brake Lights, fitted with LED Brake Light Bulbs. Amber Rear Turn Signals, LED Headlights and Front Turn Signals. Programmed Bambi Mode, I had the Export Headlight Switch featuring front and rear fogs and programmed to work. I just had to run a wire from the BCM to the Intelligent Power Module under the hood. (Personally I was going to do a wire swap from the towing section because it didn't have a hitch) Rear Fogs installed with actual proper wiring harness. (The Chrysler Dealer actually asked me why I was wanted that wiring harness then said ''Sure why not'') AFE Momentum GT Intake under the hood.

2012 Ford Escape. It was a great vehicle, but she had almost 300k miles (I drove for Uber and Lyft while in between jobs) and Ford was offering 0% financing for 72 months on a new Ranger. Well worth it in my opinion.

2020 Silverado HD. Love that truck. Love the space most of all. But after we sold our travel trailer, I couldn't justify the cost of gas and the ongoing engine issues. I drive a lot! My wife already had an Ranger and I was in love with it.

I dont regret it. But, as I look at this picture, I do miss the size and space it had. The center console was like having a coffee table in your truck. Seriously, I could setup lunch for two, play cards, hold a business meeting, put a lamp there, coffee table book... and still had room for my elbow.

Got my 2022 Ranger Lariat a couple of weeks ago. Selling my 2005 F250 Super Duty XLT crew cab w/8' bed (6.0L diesel). Nothing wrong with the F250, just don't need something that big right now.

I'll be getting rid of a 2012 Ford F-150 and a 2016 BMW M235ix. I wanted to downsize from having 4 vehicles in the interest of being a minimalist. Downsizing the F-150 to a Ranger to get bad fuel efficiency instead of terrible fuel efficiency, and getting rid of the M235 because it's only fun anymore if I'm driving 120+ MPH and I'm trying to prove to my wife and kids that I'm an adult.
