On the way to go visit with Dad and Uncle Jim this morning, I stopped by the car wash and spent about $10 giving the truck a much needed bath.

Drove around town trying to find a brake shop that would install my Powerstop Brake Kit. First 3 said no because they couldn’t warranty the parts. Well, no kidding I didn’t buy them there! Idiots who apparently don’t like easy money.

Fourth shop didn’t blink an eye and scheduled me for next Wednesday.

That's always nice, and a good feeling when you find a good shop that will work with you. My 2 cents.

My mechanic shop is pretty good about that. I didn't feel like wrestling with putting the Timbren bump stops on and they didn't hesitate for a moment. Of course I have been a customer since 2016, bought three vehicles through them and referred many other customers to them. I get shops being wary of flakes but easy money is easy money!!

Went up to Tucson and had lunch, made a Costco run and picked up these 2 nightstands. These are the last pieces we needed for our spare bedroom and they match the other furniture almost perfect. She found them on Marketplace and they're in really good condition and made of real wood, dovetailed draws and has cedar bottom draws for $160/pair.

They just barely fit laying down with the tailgate closed and a packing mat against them. Now that that room's completed I'm sure she'll find something else we need in another room.

First fly fishing trip since my GBS last year. Bit of a slow day and nothing to write home about but I wasn't skunked!! Our water is really low this year with mild winter and lack of snow pack. Still beautiful in the woods! Plus 28.8 mpg round trip! Was at 30 mpg coming down the river road before we hit the interstate to come home. These trucks are so cool!!

I had a plain one and this was my dad's. This one is larger and if the conditions were better we normally tangle with 15-20" cutthroat on this river. A lot of dinks on this trip but that's fine. At least when I take a picture of a fish in the net I have proof!!

It was a younger couple unloading some of their stuff that's been sitting in their garage. They're getting married in December and are trying to get some extra money for the honeymoon. There's some scratches on the top from their cat but nothing I can't fix if I wanted to. Probably not. lol

I had to take the box my hard folded bed cover came in to recycling

Nice quad fold harc cover replacement for my trifold soft cover. If I can’t sell the trifold, I’ll stick it in the shed. I applied preserver tothe vinyl. Supercab Ranger w 6 ft bed.
