Used my Ford points on ford.com and ordered some new windshield wipers for my 2024 Ranger.

The drive to the work this morning was good, right after entered on the highway 102.5 Mad Rock played a song from my all time favorite rock band. Doubleback by ZZ TOP, which was featured in Back to the Future Part III. Then on the way back I stopped by the car wash and gave it a farm truck bath and made a run for home!

When I was in college, it was $2 to activate the spray wand at the local coin-op wash. I swear I could do a complete wash, rinse, and wax in those precious few minutes.

Duke, when I turned sixteen it was $1 to activate the car, fast forward twenty five years later and it is currently a $1.75 to activate the car washes in Fannin County.When I was in college, it was $2 to activate the spray wand at the local coin-op wash. I swear I could do a complete wash, rinse, and wax in those precious few minutes.

Sounds like small town America. Were these guys the local Sheriff and Deputy?
I’m pretty sure their cousins were the local LEOs in mine.

Wow it was only $1.00 at our local wash and yes I could wash and rinse and still have time on the clock.
I guess that extra $1.00 went towards your "free healthcare" up there. Someone's gotta pay for it.

And guys, just so we're on the same page, my straight forward way of talking. Comes from three people. My late Grandpa, my Dad, and mine and my Dads hero, the late, great Bob Glidden. Best example of Glidden talking straight forward is when he called out Warren Johnson after Johnson tried to burn Glidden down while they were in the pre stage beams at Champion Auto Stores Nationals.
