Look at that sweet tach in that XL instrument cluster. It has those woefully inferior Lariat clusters beat by 1.609 km (See what I did there). Nice!

The Lariat owners who received XLT clusters during the supply chain crisis sure got lucky.

Wow - great shots Jeff - looks like you two had a great time! Wait, are those Caesars?

Are you secretly Canadian? ;)
not that I am aware 😂 We had breakfast at the red rock casino and spicy bloody Mary was the drink of choice that day

I'm also happy it has plain old air conditioning and not the dual zone climate control which seems more likely to have blend door problems.
I purposely got an STX because I didn't want the extra electronic gizmos on the XLT, reasoning that it's just more things to break.

Maybe I'm an exception?
None of my '21 XLT gizmos (I also have 302A with Tech package) have misbehaved.

Transmission, though...not so lucky.

I'm just playing the odds.
Still winning show awards tho.
Will celebrate this milestone on Saturday with a new set of tires and an oil change.

I was thinking along the same lines when I got my base model XLT. I didn’t necessarily “need” a lot of extras and I’ve always found touch screens distracting. When I was playing around with the build site, I always had to add a complete package just to get one option I thought would be nice to have. It was grating on me as the price just kept climbing. When I found one with the 4” infotainment screen, just like in the XL, that’s what did it for me. My only option is the trailer package.

And I agree with you on the heater and a/c controls. Finding the temperature sweet spot is a piece of cake and eliminates all that cycling of blend doors, actuators, etc. as the system tries to keep one side of a small truck cab 2° cooler than the other as the passenger keeps adjusting their side, up and down, every few minutes. 🤦‍♂️

Ah...I don't have that problem as the ac is always set on low (my wife and I both run kinda hot), and I spend most of my drive by myself anyway.

But each to his own, right? 🙂

Now that I have it I think the dual zone is a must have option. My '19 was the first vehicle I've had it in and when I first bought it I thought it was going to be one of those "gimmicky" options. It's so nice to be able to set the temp to what you like and have your passenger set theirs to their liking. Like you mines on low but Annie's always cold so she can set hers to whatever she wants and I don't have to hear her telling me she's freezing the whole time. 🥶

I'd much rather have that than the XLT gauge cluster. Because when the Mrs is happy, everyone's happy. 😜🙃

My wife’s Pacifica has dual zone climate but I can’t get my side cool enough so I just put the window down and hang my head out like the dog does.
At least she gets hot flashes once in a while now so it’s not so bad for me. :giggle:

I truly agree..
All I got is this dang 23’ with no LED headlights.. however I do have the better gauge cluster😅.
Lariat tremor with the xlt cluster would’ve been my perfect pic… oh and the tow tech and tow package
