From recent TN vacation.. 1,337 entries in 1996 & older Ford truck show,

early morning in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mts

rolled over 34k miles

got home unloaded bed, next day loaded up tools and went to Chimney Rock NC to help with Helene recovery/rebuild

on the right side of picture there used to be a row of businesses - completely gone

old road ran right through the middle of the wash,

Western NC & Eastern TN, years of work to do. Still hard to comprehend the devastation

I know I'm probably going to get some shit for this, but it was still pretty fun. I wanted to test out my new suspension setup, and I'm proud to say that it works pretty damn well for how little I spent. Yes, I know that this is dangerous, but I had a spotter to ensure no cars were coming. The setup is icon 2.5 standard travel front coilvers, grimm UCA, icon bump stops and leaf springs, and eibach 2.0 sports.

Drove the Ranger to the Credit Union yesterday and paid off the 60 month loan at month 27! ???

Now looking at Hiker Trailers. The back of the truck camping is fine for a couple nights, but my old ass is seeking a little more comfort on longer trips ?

My brother bought this mid-level Hiker late last year and it’s awesome. I think he was a little less than 15k for his build.

Drove up into the Cherokee National Forest today. Fly fished the upper Tellico on the North Carolina side of the stateline. It was 71 at 2600 feet and 85 at the house. Amazing day. Trout were hitting well. Caught 10 in about 2.5 hours.

Got the roof, front end, and doors clay bar'd and waxed to get ready for Carlisle this weekend.
3rd Place in the 2019+ Ranger class last year.

Went to go to work and the battery is dead. Wife leaves before me so I'm waiting on AAA.
OE battery is 5 years old so I knew it was on borrowed time and planned on getting a new one before winter anyway.
