It got driven around 60 miles this morning. :O

I got my haircut a couple towns over, then breakfast, then back home and loaded up/delivered some Christmas gifts for a local org that helps kids get placed in foster homes. It's something the wife and I do every year instead of buying each other something.

No joke, I put the pedal to the floor and wound it up for the first time today. I had to pass a vehicle on a two lane road and the Ford Performance/Borla exhaust came to life! For a moment there, I felt like I was living my life one quarter mile at a time, lol.

Look at that sporty Supercab parked way out there! lol

And back home in the driveway before going back out.

Received my OBDlink in the mail yesterday so downloaded Forscan this morning and dove right in . Easy peasy . The best $49 I've spent so far .

Turned off Auto Start Stop
Turned off the double horn honk when you close the door with Key Fob in your pocket.
Changed the PANIC to a double press of the key fob button.
Calibrated the speedometer to my new tires.
Changed the Sync splash screen to the Ford Performance version.

I had asked two Ford dealerships if they could calibrate the speedometer and they both told me I would need the $300 Hypertech device . Forscan lets you input your tires circumference in mm so that was easy . It matches GPS exact now . I hate dealerships .

I played around with the splash screens on the sync display and almost left it on the Raptor version since I have the Raptor style grill but it kinda seems wrong to do that ,LOL . The new Bronco animation is one of the choices and it's really cool . Since the FX4 is a off road vehicle I may go to it . It doesn't say Bronco but just has the black bucking Bronco logo which blends in really nicely with the dash trim .

I'm sure I'll play around with it some more since there's a ton of stuff to manipulate in the program . Happy to leave it like it is for now .

Currently camped out in a dispersed campsite near Cleveland, Tennessee. Heading back to South Florida tomorrow, but spent the day driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and into Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Update to the new wheels....I ended up color matching the star in the wheel center to match my Hot Pepper Red truck color. Please don't ask how much that ended up costing me to get the Plastic Adhesion coat, base coat, pearlescent coat, and clear coat mixed and put in cans...lol. It did come out beautiful though....IMO ;)

I took my Ranger to Petro-Canada to get gas this morning but right alongside the gasoline, I saw that they also had Liquid Rocket Fuel so I filled up.

I wish we could get that (94) out here, the highest octane is 91. It was nice back east when we could get Sunoco 94 at some stations it use to really help in the street bikes.

Now hopefully we don't see you post tomorrow..."I think I Threw A Rod part 3.?

At the U.S. equivalent of $4.75/gal., I’m pretty sure it comes with a warranty.

Geeze Duke you might have to take out a HELOC with those prices. I filled up with 91 yesterday at Costco for $3.79 and thought I hit the lottery at that price. It's over $4.00 everywhere else.

It used to be that when paying at the pump, I’d always select “OK” when prompted about the $100 pre-authorization amount on my credi card. If I want a full tank of gas, I can’t do that anymore and have to choose a higher limit.

Picked up some next to new OEM 16" steelie takeoffs with the TPMS for 200 bones last night, dropped them off at the tire shop to get some winters mounted this week. Hung it out sideways a bunch in this new snow.

Bought a USFS Christmas tree permit last week. I took Hank out today and used the tag to snag this bad boy. Lots of snow and hidden pot holes, but Hank eats them for breakfast. Good day.

I just want to go drive on that road - I love driving in snow covered areas - every sound is muffled - tranquil.
