Full Electric - Peugeot e-Expert Crew Cab 136 Pro+ (base and some gimmics like central locking and bigger screen) and Some style package.

Not the options I would tick, but this was available. 25k$ under MSRP* and bit over (ie: Cash to pocket) from Ranger as trade.

Guess it's time to find Peugeot forum :)

* = Which is ridiculous, nobody would pay that MSRP for these.

Gonna use it to camp?

Overlanding and trail riding in vans are becoming more frequent lately. Which makes sense, probably cheaper to buy a van over those overpriced tents everyone's buying.

Nope.

Going to use it to transport stuff and people from point A to point B, just like Ranger. Got a bigger "bed" and long items (like brushcutter) go from cargo area to under the passanger seats. Bit higher payload also, easier to access and takes 2 EU pallets.

I'll lose the drive to forest. Instead I get drive next to forest and haul equipment by foot.

Need to install a towhook anyway for trailer and then I might buy a Can-Am Outlander Electric to "forest transport".

Its not a great picture but a friend and I spent time clearancing the lower fender area to clear the 35s. With the +30 wheels and the 35x12.5x17, I was rubbing on the frame at full lock (the last 2% of the wheel turn) and the OME BP-51 external reservoir. I knew I would need spacers, it was down to 8mm slip on spacers with extended studs and lugs or 1" bolt on spacers. We were doing testing yesterday and realized that we would need to clearance the fender either way so... I used the 1" spacers I already had so I didn't have to spend any more money. I forgot to take pictures when I had the wheel arch off but we cut ~1" of metal and plastic, but the attachments are all still solid.

I put the inner fender liner back in and I rub *ever so slightly* on it, when the wheel is at like 15% turn. I will either secure it back or just start trimming the fender liner. I'm not overly concerned because its soft and will wear through, if I do nothing. We were able to flex the truck out and I shouldn't rub at all (minus the fender liner) when offroad.

One of my next projects is to build high clearance inner fenders out of 1/16" or 1/8" aluminum. Once I do that, the whole transition to 35s will be complete.

Wow, that’s a very different choice, indeed. It seems to have the utility and practicality you need. I hope it serves you well.

@KNI Hope you are happy with the new ride. Curious how the Battery holds up in the cold season. In the US they lose range in the extreme cold.
Based on the first day the results were interesting.

Highway speeds really cause hit on the range. That boxy design and the one motor no gearbox constuction is definitely built for lower speeds (no Tesla like dual motor for different speed ranges) as indicated by the power usage meter. 80km/h (50mph) was fine (charging on downhill), 100km/h (62mph) started to see "mid-eco" drain even when going down low slope and 120km/h (75mph) was a battery eater.

Heating was on all the time and regardles of the settings (speed, temp, etc.) the power drain on the separate air conditioning meter was high all the time and no apparent change on the meter. Looks to eat 20-30% from the battery. No surprice there.

I'd say it's good to go for about 200km (125 miles) on highway in winter and summer you might get 300km (185 miles) out of it. Then add years on it and you lose 30% of the battery making it 140m (88 miles) and 210km (130 miles) respectively.

Works for me, won't work for many others. It will be a pain on longer drivers (lot of coffee stops!) but I don't have many of those. Doing mainly 5-100km trips.

Charging was niceish.. 100kW until ~40%, 70kW until 80% and then 25-28kW up to 100%. These will also degrade over the time. 11kW will be enough for overnight charging, on the go 230V charging will take about 35hrs if you don't want to melt the Schucho sockets (22h if you do).

I'll see in the long run. If it doesn't work, then I'll just swap it to something else.

With the price I got it, I'd say it's perfect test bed (having had Chevy Volt for 8 years helps here).

Mine was from a suggestion by Tony @tm1506, and I purchased it through Lone Star Conversions in Sherman, TX and they installed it and my Rough Country off road lights.

Couldn't be happier with the way that it changed the appearance of the truck.
Looks great, I'm really digging the Rough Country lights too. Very sharp, how do they perform?

Thank you! The Rough Country lights perform great, although they are only used when I am off road, the two that are in the front bumper the guys at Lone Star Conversions had to make custom brackets for because there isn't any available.

This is the factory headlights and fog lights plus the Rough Country lights.

These are the only lights with custom brackets I could find. No drill install.

Those look wicked !

There are a few other options. I have the Rough Country set but I never installed them because my front light signature is maxed out.

I have Auxbeam 7" light bars mounted up front. My installer made brackets in like 5 minutes. I love the 6-mode switching function. They have every combo of White - Amber - and Flashing. They're 300w and 15,000Lm. They are bright AF !

Today my 2021 STX became a Raptor. I was worried because I ruined the plastic plugs that hold the top shroud in place. Then realized @LevittownFordParts.com was kind enough to include replacments in the box. (They knew I didn't know how to properly remove them)

As a side note, check your radiators folks. Man, I noticed a bunch of debris in mine when I replaced the grille. Used my air compressor to blow it out from the fan side. You don't notice it with the top shroud in place.

Got to watch the pressure with an air hose, water hose is probably safer, that is what I use.
