Quick soap and rinse. I swear the two coats of graphene last summer makes a difference. Soupie sits out in the weather and under a giant oak. There have been several snows and many rains and this is the third suds'n'rinse since summer. And I don't towel dry these quick cleans.

I also did Kate's car today, and it's not nearly as shiny and the water doesn't really bead - she didn't do any graphene last summer but does park in the garage ...

And maybe it's just because Race Red Rangers are the best! =p

Wanna drive down here and do some paint correction for me? Seems I never have the day off to spend it on buffing all the scratches out.

I can pay you in amazon gift card.

After talking bad about our large taillights in another thread I got to tape up my taillight after some guy clipped the back of my truck in an icy roundabout. Sometimes karma seems like a real thing….

Yeah and about 1500.00 Canadian. 3 years ago someone hit the same corner at Costco in a hit and run. The exact same damage that time too except it wasn’t quite as bad and they only cracked the taillight that time. That back corner may be cursed.

Definitely interested to hear what you think of it.
I will give you first impressions here and after the few hours of using it -

1. The stock backup camera and the head unit almost work great. For whatever reason there are some "lines' in the picture, but nothing that makes it unusable. It is a little laggy which is strange to me but all-in-all it's fine. Hopefully the software update I just did will help that a bit.

2. Some apps work great and others are needing Android 13+ which I do not think it is on yet. I will be looking into getting it to Android 14.0; might have to go to Yulu for that. We shall see.

3. the screen is snappy and moves between apps fast. The split screen function works well. Some of the built "apps" like climate control close too fast and I have yet to find a setting (though I think I found one I haven't changed it yet).

4. The display front parking sensors is enabled, but it never seems to show up. Trying to figure that one out; at least the tones work.

5. You have two choices for playing music and stuff - apps on the head unit, but you need internet in some fashion or from your phone. For now, since I don't have a SIM for it yet, I do that via bluetooth.

6. Speaking of bluetooth, it has two bluetooth chips in it and thus getting connecting isn't as straight forward as you might think. You have to pick the right thing to pair to. I figured it out after about 5 minutes, but it took some trial and error.

Overall in just the few hours I have had it installed, I am liking it.

I remember when they first installed these at McDonald’s. ;)

When it is 3AM and I am on a road trip, I love not having to talk to someone to order breakfast and since I don't get different stuff they can't mess it up.

The biggest thing for me is the climate controls being available without having to swap out of android auto. I do wish Yulu would've used the built in GPS/Sat/4G antenna, but Que Sera, Sera. If you go read the other thread you'll understand better why I wanted it beyond climate controls.

So, I read the other thread and I’m left thinking two things…
  1. It’s way too big
  2. It doesn’t work properly

Do you need that many presets Steve? Five seems like a lot. ?

I bet when you unfold that map, it’s smaller than that head unit. ?
