You need to individually open and save each of the asbuilts to a file on your hard drive. The log file is just a record of what you did, not the actual adbuilt. Look at some of the Forscan videos on-line to see the e act steps to do it.

By the way what kind of OBD2 adaptor are you using? Some of the cheap ones are clones and can be flaky. I use an ODBLink adaptor and have never had issues.
I've only found a couple quick videos that didn't seem to be a direct one-to-one. Either the program looks like an older version or I got different prompts than the videos indicated. That's not to say it didn't all seem like straight forward prompts to work through, but I didn't get far enough to be able to save anything before it froze.

I'm using the Vgate vLinker FS here. It was one of the ones linked on the forscan site when i got it... albeit the cheaper offering since i didnt see myself messing with this stuff beyond a few creature comfort tweaks... if at all now.

As long as it is an adapter link to on the Forscan site you should be fine. I myself have not been in Forscan for some time so I cannot speak to any updates/changes that have adequate to the program. Yes, the videos have probably been made with prior versions, but the basics should still apply.

Over the past week I dialed in all my Forscan settings. Last night I installed aFe Power Dry Magnum Flow Air Filter & Dynamic Scoop, Velossa Tech Big Mouth Ram Air Intake as well as a Pedal Commander. Magnaflow Overland Catback Exhaust is next…but, probably will be a couple of months as I’m still recovering from shoulder surgery and don’t think it’s wise to get under the truck just yet…

Gotta start ordering parts for transmission upgrade…then, that should be it for a while. Really loving this truck.

Had the oil changed and tires rotated yesterday (5,600 miles).

Today, go out to find a nail in the tread at the sidewall. Took it to @Discount Tire to see if it can be repaired; no go.

So, they ordered me a new tire and will have it installed tomorrow afternoon.

That’s the third nail I’ve picked up in 7 months of ownwership.

My Ford Ranger MSRT is in the Ford Garage workshop having 16 Diode Dynamics Rock Lights fitted. I know they are ubiquitous over your way but over here they are virtually unheard of or indeed, rarely seen. Here’s an image of progress so far. Hope to pick the Truck up early next week.

I installed the hood struts I ordered last week  .

*Word of advise, always read instructions on something you've never installed before, especially something this simple.

One little detail almost ruined my day. I've installed numerous gas struts on hatches and hoods, NBD. Installed them no problem quickly "glancing" at the instructions. On the bottom on the fenders, the attachment clips need to be on the top when closed. I failed to read that and mine were on the bottom. Closed the hood and I heard them pop off and the clips bouncing off the sheet metal in the bay. Luckily, (after 30 min) I found both clips sitting on the frame rails. Re-installed properly after READING the instructions, all good. :like:.

On a side note, according the the TSB on the "water in spark plug hole" it only covers 19-21 models. I found that odd until I noticed Fords "fix" to the problem while installing said struts .

Bummer on the jumping clips - that's the kind of thing that makes me cuss like the Seventh Fleet!

And it's news to me that the '22 has a fix! My engine bay looks like yours but I didn't realize it was different than prior years, can someone verify this?

I was going to stick the pool noodle/pipe insulation fix this weekend, but if this is a true working Ford fix, then maybe I have an engine cover to sell to fund a tropical vacation! =)

Thanks for the pics and educational info for me.

Hey now, don't "dumb shame" me! =D

I prefer to say I'm enthusiastic. =p

The price is really out of control, I wonder what keeps someone from making a cheap knock off (apart from being sued, but I'm sure some are smart enough to avoid that). Not saying I'm condoning a knock off (wink, wink) but it has to be like a dollars worth of materials for that foam ... and if it's a really cheap foam that melts, wouldn't that then seal the plugs even better? =)
