further de-tremorfying, only outward tremor identification is the stickers on the bedside

So, did you just remove the red nostrils? Those and the bedside decals are the two primary visual identifiers unless I am missing something...

I installed the last fender flare, then removed it and re-installed the snorkel. Then I spent so many hours slowly grinding away on the flare to fit around the snorkel, but still needs a piece of body trim to finish it. Then removed it one last time to clean everything up and install the marker light for final installation. As I start putting the marker light in, the whole piece popped right out, and is fkd now. The rest of the flare is injection or thermo-molded, but the light cup is a separate piece that is glued in. I was pi$$ed, lol.

In normal circumstances I'd have stopped the install and re-packaged the whole flare, but seeing as I already cut it to fit, I doubt they'll want it back, so I just finished the install, without the fender light in place.

I'll be contacting them in the morning and looking for a solution, either a replacement flare or suitable adhesive that will hold it securely for the long run.

Yes indeed! You had a lot more than me with the extra bumper fittings I didn't have to deal with, and I'm not painting mine. I may weld some extensions on the bumper when I deal with the rust and re-paint it, but I'm not sure yet. I'll have to get a few more views of of the flares from more angles to decide whether I can live with it as is or not.

I almost gave you a shout out in post #19,846.....

I got upset today.

Someone slammed their door into my rear fender.

Hard enough to scratch it all the way down to plastic...

If I had to get a ding, I guess a plastic fender is a good place.... Now it won't hurt as bad when I get trail damage, I guess... That's what they say. ?
I scratched my with my rolling plastic trash can! That fender thing is soft. =(

I think your attitude is the best one - best place to have this happen and that first blemish is always the most painful!

Love the hat!
I'm sorry about the turn your gun laws took up there. I was always jealous that a "short barrel rifle" was a non-concept to our neighbors in the north. But now...
Ughhhhh. Sorry!

Thanks.

It always baffles me how people can be so clueless.

And I get kids open doors and don't pay attention, but come on people. ?

Shrug. I'll get over it in a few years. ?

That's why I seldom drive my truck to work. We have 50-60 open parking spaces. I park away from everyone and like that TV commercial, some idiot in a 1975 Olds will park right on top of me and swing their 105lb door open as hard as they can ?:punch::punch::punch:
When I go anywhere, I park in the last row of spaces, next to a curb so hopefully I can minimize my chance of getting whacked... Sadly this one came when I made the decision to park between cars in a parking lot with ~8 spots, so I could take the kid to see dinosaur tracks...

SShe had a great time seeing the Dino tracks so in the end that's what matters more than my beautiful truck.

LOL, well mine was my own fault! But 100% about how people are.

Kate's one year old Mazda CX-5 Signature edition (oooh) was just sideswiped by a guy deciding to go straight from the left turn lane. The damage was very minor but needs professional body work.

The kicker is that this older gentleman and his wife (in their 80s?) in their new BMW SUV took off like a bat out of hell turning this into a hit and run!

Unfortunately, the dash cam I've been thinking of installing isn't here and my daughter (passenger) didn't take a pic, so they got away with it. =(

I park at the end of the lot at work just cause my co-workers don't give a crap.
(I'll keep my bannable comments to myself)

Though I park next to the pick-up spots at my grocery store. I usually park next to an ultra clean chevy astro van, tells me the owner isn't a door dinger douche. Ironically he probably hates me for parking next to him all the time.

If you repaint. Repaint with steel it. Its expensive as hell but its weldable paint.
