Loaded up the Ranger for a whole month of vacation in my hometown in Gaspé peninsula.

Averaged 12.4L/100km with a very strong headwind. Not bad considering it is towing, has a kayak on the roof and the bed is loaded.

Also enjoyed my first ride on my new PWC.

Beautiful area, I have only seen winter pictures when friends on mine went there for a 1000 plus mile snowmobile trip.
Enjoy!

I have looked a little bit at FORScan, but I have never used anything like that and am a little nervous about bricking my truck, so any feedback in that area would be great. I like the idea of the Bambi mode and putting an end to that annoying double honk when I close the door with the truck running and fob in my pocket.
Forscan is pretty idiot proof now that it is enable/disable, I did the double honk, seat belt chime, disable panic button and Bambi mode.
As for kids before upgrades, sell the kids, do the upgrades, problem solved.

I was a little devastated to learn that after shooting the fender flares in truck bed liner, it would be 72 hours before they could be exposed to water. Down here in South Florida, it's been raining every day for over a month!

That did give me some time though to do some minor finishing work on them yesterday. I installed the Amazon sourced rubber gasket trim onto the flares and trimmed that up. I then learned that the front passenger side wouldn't flush up against the body properly, so I did a little trimming and reinstall that section of rubber trim, ensuringa proper fit.

This morning I woke up, made myself a Cuban espresso, and then got to work tidying up the rubber trim gasket. I masked off what I didn't want Shoe Goo on, and used a plastic knife to apply Shoe Goo to close up the gaps where I had to join two pieces of the rubber trim.

72 hours is tomorrow morning, and I have to work. ? So maybe tomorrow after work I can install the flares!!!

got my 3" lift put in finally! 5100's front and rear, eibach lift springs, and RC UCAs. She just needs some new boots soon ?? had it done locally by a guy in a ranger fb page. He's a super chill guy and did a great job. Would definitely recommend if anyone is local in the Phoenix az area.

Got this guy hooked up. Like the way it looks especially when the suns down. I don't really notice any noise either.

Waiting for my extension cable so I can start fighting the fire wall boot to run the control wire to my auxbeam AR-800 controller. It's Bluetooth as well so maybe I'll forgoe the extension, tuck it away, and just use my phone.

Added a 12 volt connection in the bed. Ford supplies power near but is too cheap to finish the job unless you cough up $$$ for a lariat.

I added a small bracket to support the wiring as I didn’t care for it just hanging there.

At the risk of not sounding broke I won't say how much I paid. Theyre practically new with about 1000 miles on them. Icon warrantied these out from the person I got them from since they started to lightly rust. They told the person keep em and got sent out a new set. These are for a 2.7 4 door bronco. I will remove coils, and then wire wheel the shock tube spray them with steel it paint. Now I definitely can't procrastinate on building my taller shock buckets, amd control arms. Drove my truck to pick up this pressure washer for free. Owner thought he blew the motor upon checking it out fully. It's was just over filled with oil.

Installed a new Murray radiator/overflow tank cap. And found the P/N for a new overflow tank in case the cap doesn't fix my leaking coolant issue :fingerscrossed:

Well, I got the OBDII connector and used FORScan to enable Bambi mode, disable double honk, and change splash screen. Got started late and didn't play with it long. Now to dive deep into the FORScan threads and find all the best mods. :)

What is "Snatchclothing.com"?
I'll admit to being afraid to plug that in any browser I use...
